That millionaire players knowingly throw away their waste, what respect not only for the club which welcomes them, but also for those who are in charge of the cleaning... the rich who make fun of the poor.  What a mentality!  I put the translation, just to emphasize that footballers from other clubs (even Nantes, that is to say!) do not have this behavior.  You may call us bad losers, but your players are very sad winners!  No excuses.

Rennais Stadium.  Not very gentlemanly, Leicester leaves its locker room in a sorry state

The day after Stade Rennais' elimination in the round of 16 of the Europa League Conference against Leicester on Thursday, March 17, several photos showed the deplorable state of the visitor's locker room at Roazhon Park after the departure of the English team.  A finding that shocked the Breton club, including the chairman of the board of directors, Jacques Delanoé

Stade Rennais had already emerged frustrated from their round of 16 Europa League Conference against Leicester on Thursday March 17 (2-1 winner at Roazhon Park but eliminated after their 2-0 defeat in the first leg).  The state of the visitor's locker room after the departure of the English, noted after the match, added to the annoyance on the side of the SRFC: waste on the ground, on the table or in the individual lockers.

A lack of good manners which notably "surprised and shocked" Jacques Delanoë, chairman of the board of directors of Stade Rennais, who highlights the good relations between the leaders of Rennes and Leciester on this double confrontation: "It's  went very well, they received us well in Leicester and we received them well in Rennes.  But for the Rennes manager, the behavior of the team coached by Brendan Rodgers is likely to tarnish the "image" of the English champion club in 2016.

“It is unworthy of a club that has been champion of England, I find it totally lamentable.  I think we saw that once in Rennes and I think it was already an English club.  The image of a club is on the pitch but also in the way you leave an opposing club.  I can tell you that at Stade Rennais, we always make sure to leave a clean locker room.  And Jacques Delanoë added to conclude: "Unfortunately we had already had the opportunity in the past to taste the famous English fair play bitterly, here is once again proof that gentlemen are undoubtedly more on the side of Brittany than  of Great Britain…”

Tell me how over the last ten plus years of social media where we have played 100s of clubs of clubs from small stadiums of a few thousand to major European clubs and never had one complaint.

Something more to this as I'd imagine if this was our normal modus operandi it would've come up beforehand.

Oh and who has a carpet in a changing room ? 🤔

That is poor from our club to be fair. We've got about 20 staff that could have gone and asked for some bin bags and a brush.

Probably had a plane to catch:dunno:

Dear Mr Delanoe,

Provide more than one bin next time. That would help as the only place to depose of rubbish in the photo is clearly full.

Kind Regards,

Leicester

That will be factor and part of it dictated by a police escort to the airport as well.

It's incredibly boring crap this. You'd think we'd done Holloway and left a shit on the floor at Brighton

Glad I was not the only one who thought it was crap.

The room isn’t even in that much of a state! It would take me about 10mins to clear it up 😂😂

It's just a bit of an unwritten rule in football that you leave the changing rooms as you find them.

Part of me thinks that we've probably left it in that state for a reason because Rodgers tends to be a man who's all about appearances. I'd expect him to insist that we leave the away changing room spotless when leaving, so it strikes me as being done for a reason.

These are the big questions Jordan Blackwell needs to be asking :D

And maybe they did and that photo is taken before they cleaned up. As I said, we simply don't know what ordinarily happens.

To me, if beggars belief that it's become an issue. It really does smack of sour grapes, and I suspect from just a few. The majority of Rennes fans shown in interviews after the match were very much 'great game, really enjoyed the intensity, we gave it all and we're proud' C'est la vie.

You know, like ordinary well adjusted fans.

It turns out it was the Palace bus driver who had done that shit! But the players thought it was someone connected to Brighton that did it which fired them up to beat them in the semis 🤣

Hes lied at least once here.

'We received them well in Rennes'.

Not the case. People in glass houses should not throw stones.

That's pathetic. Your club should hold its head in shame. The fact that this thread is still on the front page as a result of the incessant whining of your club says it all.

Did they bring their cleaner with them when they played at the KP?

Only Omari, our young defender, almost lost his nerves, otherwise it's not knowing the team well to see butchers there!  For the rest, the facts are there, and I have always respected those who clean up our dirt, that's the least we can do.  As for insulting me, that's none of my business, for my part, I haven't insulted anyone here, and I won't!

As mentioned by some already, I suspect being so un-gracious in defeat has a lot to do with this mess.  Any one heard about any issues with Randers?

I think you’re just a sensitive soul. I’ve only seen guys in here say you’re bad losers and whining so hardly that insulting!

I actually like posters from other clubs on here but you’re posting some absolute drivel about your changing room which is hardly in that bad of a state.

I think you need some time aware from here unless, like your team and manager enjoy being cry babies!

Can we add Rennes to our “rivalries” yet? Along with other random clubs like Liverpool and Atletico Madrid?

The cleaners wanted some overtime and threw a bit of litter on the floor.
