Let's make it official here!

- Leicester City to play PSV Eindhoven in UECL last-eight
- Ties to take place on Thursday 7 April and Thursday 14 April
- City to face Bodø/Glimt or Roma over two legs should they progress against PSV

PSV are currently second in their domestic league, 2 points behind Ajax. Star players include Mario Gotze of world cup 2014 winning game and perennial Leicester City target Noni Madeuke who plays as RW for them.

This should be a fantastic tie, bring it on PSV!

Just once this season, I would like us to have a barnstormer, and really light up the scoreboard. This would be a good one to do it in. (Although with these European refs, I think our players might get yellow cards for scoring too emphatically.)

How come Glimpt have a / in their name?

From Wikipedia -

The club changed its name in 1948, due to an older club from Trøndelag having the same name, and has since gone by the name Fotballklubben Bodø/Glimt. The slash was originally a hyphen, but was gradually changed in the 1980s to avoid confusion as hyphens were often used to separate teams on betting coupons and in result tables in newspapers.

For anyone interested in how Schmidt has got PSV playing.

What I know of Schmidt is that his style can be exploited and his teams over the years have been on the end of some massive surprise pastings. They looked to be heading for one in the 1st half of the 1st leg vs Copenhagen.

Brendan Roger Schmidt….

A Harvey Barnes stormer you mean.

Does anyone know what time the kick off is likely to be? Is it usually a choice between 8pm and 5:45pm?

It will be 8pm at home and 5.45 away. Always is. One advantage of a powerful broadcaster

The wonders of Google Translate    opening up footy forums all over the world to English speaking monoglots …

The hardest thing to get used to - since we are a middle class club competing with the Rich Six in our own league - is how these strong, historic continental teams see us as a filthy rich club.  Because, by their standards, that's what we are.

At Leicester you have the feeling that they don't take the Conference League very seriously. On 2 good days, you can definitely grab them.

I think Leicester is a very tough draw, but I wouldn't call it a stunt either. Leicester today has almost double the market value of Schalke and Lyon in 16/17. Those clubs were not in good shape that season. Would you call that stunts?

In terms of lottery, it's not really going well right now, of course. Both Leicester and Roma are on our side of the schedule. Would really like it too. Anyway, should be doable provided PSV maintains good form.

There are plenty of opportunities against Leicester. In the back it is at times really a cheese with holes, which PSV should be able to take advantage of. On the other hand, they have a lot of nice players in the front, who will make it difficult for our defense anyway. Limit the damage and finish at home.

It's nice to measure ourselves against the Premier League. I look forward.

I'd rather be champion than make it to the final of this league. Pure money-technical to catch up with Ajax a bit.

Will be interesting to see their approach, as mention by a few posters on here as well I would imagine they are going to prioritise winning the Eredivisie which I think gets them UCL qualification?

For purposes of comparison Forest have played 44 matches in all competitions in Europe, so we're 6 games behind them.

The slow death continues 🤣🤣🤣
