Maddison properly stood up when we needed one of our big players to stand up and be counted, proper big game performance from him tonight.

Stress. We were out before those changes. Ayoze and Lookman made an impact. Not convinced by PSV, three very good players and quite a few average players, best chances gifted to them and couldn't up the heat on us either.

 

Decent fans though. Unlucky lads. An honour to beat prestigious clubs away in Europe.

Great subs, quality shone through. Fair play Brendan and the team. Got the sense of the desire back.

 

Madders. What form he is in.

 

Evans was brilliant and Fofana... well... what a performance.

 

Who'd of thought if we got back a couple of first choice CB's we'd look like this again? That's rhetorical BTW.

My scream when the first went in was so loud and sudden that I scared my five year-old to tears, had to watch the rest in the bedroom!
