Conference League?

“We are really excited with this challenge. We are close to the end and we will do our best to keep going.”
 

Final?

“When you are so close to the final, you do think about it. We have to do well to get through.”
 

Roma?

“We know they have good players, it’s an aggressive team, but we play in front of our fans and hopefully it will be a nice atmosphere. They will be there from the first whistle and they will help the team.”
 

Mourinho?

“Of course, being a supporter for Porto, I was aware of him. He did great things there, the Champions League was a great achievement. Before the game with Man Utd with Leicester, but it was a brief thing. During the game it will be forgotten."

“It’s very good. Of course we want to have every player fit, and for sure we will be stronger with him.”

“For sure, I would say him and the whole team, they want to be rewarded for the work they’ve done this season. It’s a coach who has always won trophies through his career.”

Two legs v Roma?

“To get to the final, we will have to work really hard. Roma have a great manager and fantastic players, so we will have to be at our best.”
 

Abraham?

“He’s done very well. If you look at his numbers, he’s done very well. It looks like a great decision. He’s one of a number of young British talents who have gone to Europe. Difficult to play as much as he wanted to at Chelsea. Different culture but he has shown up very well. He’s a threat and he knows the English game.”
 

Injuries?

“Thankfully, the injury list is right down. Bouba Soumare will come back into the squad, it’s only Wilf and Ryan out. Eldin our third goalkeeper is out as well.”
 

Need to get a result from first leg?

“It’s preferable. You want to bring an advantage if you can, but you don’t need to as we showed in the last round. You would like to have a good performance, and to take a result there. We want to perform and it should be an incredible atmosphere and the crowd can really help us bring our performance and tempo.”

“It’s so important, the supporters can get you over the line. That's up to us, we have to generate the intensity and then the crowd feed off that. That will give us a good start.”

“There’s a lot been said about Jose over many years, but he is such a special manager and one of the greats of our generation. When I look back at managers I have worked with, I tried to learn as much as I can. In 2004, Jose was the guy everyone wanted to be like. He came in as a European champion, it gave young coaches hope that they could have charisma. He had the X factor, he was just brilliant in so many aspects of the game. His man management with the players, his details, his tactics and how to promote that with the players. I have nothing but admiration for him. It became more distant when I became a manager myself. He’s one of the great managers, he has nothing to prove to anyone. He’s a winner.”

“I’ve been fortunate to have been in big games, it’s another milestone for me, but the most important thing is for the club and the players. You see the level of the four teams involved. I’m looking forward to it.

“It’s a great experience for all of the players, and it helps for the guys that have already experienced it. For Dewsbury-hall and other guys, it's a chance to grow. We need that mix.”

“I’m not so sure.”

“This gives us an opportunity to arrive into European football. We would love to get to the final. If it doesn’t happen, we will have given everything. The other leagues, you can't compare them to the Premier League.”

“The mind games are for the media, not for managers. We’ll be focused on the game.”
 

Importance of Evans and Schmeichel?

“Evans was just being rested, he’s available. We need to defend well as a team and I’ve been happy with that over the past few weeks. Kasper and Jonny play a key role in that, but the whole team has to defend well and be cohesive."

Good news that Soumare is back training with the squad. Hopefully he can get some game time and find a bit of form
