....I get the feeling he will go 3-5-2!!!

                      Kasper

     Fofana   Evans    Soyuncu

Ricardo  Youri  Maddison  KDH  Castagne

                Nacho   Vardy

There is no way he will want to lose the first leg, and he will be looking to control the game. Try to keep it all compact and hope we do not concede.

Factoring in form and fitness, that’s about as strong as we can get this week. 👍

Apparently Fedayn and Boys, the two largest Roma ultra groups are going to be in town on Thursday. Going to be fun watching Dave and his Twitter account deal with them

Fedayn are the ones who attacked Sean Cox. Leicester plod need to really watch how they handle those guys.

Anyone know the Italian for ‘your city is blue, your city is blue, just like Leicester your city is blue’

la tua città è blu,

la tua città è blu,

proprio come Leicester,

la tua città è blu

Roma is in an interesting position.  Very unlikely to catch Juve for the CL spot, very unlikely to be caught from behind for the Europa spot.  They may as well prioritize the conference I suppose, though they won’t need it to qualify.  They may just think they have a ghost of chance to catch Juve and prioritize the league, I suppose.

This competition will be big for them and Mourinho, neither have won anything for a while. He's not a formidable beast any longer so we have a chance, I really can't wait for this.

I think Mourinho's last trophy was the 2017 Europa League. He's pushing 60 now, and he used to win lots of stuff in his sleep. I think he will be desperate to get this one.

Yeah and when desperate the pressure can be too much, for all our issues and Brendan's there does now seem to be a quiet resilience and determination to keep going in big game knockout football matches and we ught to have the belief we can go all the way. Will be a fascinating contest, this is what's it's all about. Need to recognise this and acknowledge what we've done to get here.

Hope we win, but it's the best team in Europe at set pieces against one of the worst, with a team that has a serial winner in charge with proven big tournament winning pedigree against a team who has a notorious soft underbelly and with an awful record of last minute equalisers and winners against them.

The one huge positive is that Vardy is back. Even if he's only available in some capacity, he is our living legend, our GOAT. All of those 1 on 1's that we missed against PSV... you'd be more confident if they fell to Vardy.

The second leg is the real challenge for me as that's where the Olimpico crowd could make us wilt and fall apart. But would love to see us make our first ever European final. We have the team to do it and on paper are better, but we absolutely don't have the mentality... yet.

This is the type of game where boys become men. Arise KDH, Barnes, Fofana and Tielemans!

Vardy is a positive for sure, but don't expect to rely on him. For me the huge positive is that our first choice defence is fit and has a good number of games under their belt. Any talk of 'worst set piece' record can be ignored because the defence is a radically different one.

And I add one to your list - arise sir Madisson - this is your chance to show Europe how special you are.

Maddison free kick in the 90th minute of the away leg to secure our passage would do me nicely

Buzzing for this, going to head into town and soak it up pre match, any idea how many Roma are bringing over?

Been given an allocation of 1600 - be a few of the belt throwers in amongst them as well

Followed by a Brendan knee slide along the touchline

Roma concede on average 14.32 fouls away from home. 3-4 of them outside the box. Maddison should already be in the training ground practicing. Another reason to deploy a 3-4-1-2. Have Vardy or Nacho receiving and trying to hold on the ball outside of Roma's box.

I might get slaughtered for this from our fellow fans: If I were BR I would be a bit more adventurous and play Perez as a false 9 instead of Nacho.

Safe to say the AS Roma forum ain't very complimentary about us... still warms my heart that they know a legend when they see one;

"Non posso credere che tu l'abbia tradotta! Riesco a vederti guardare il tuo schermo a Leicester tutto confuso... qualcosa di lusinghiero in Jamie Vardy"

Arrogant fan base, they have the most suitable manager for their team. It's strange that UEFA didn't declare our game a high risk one. Their fans are going to cause trouble inside and outside the stadium.

I would not be playing Youri in this game. He's costing us time and time again. Put Madison in the middle and Perez out on the right.

Vardy to come on after 60 to switch formation to give KI some support and go 2 up top.

So you want us to with Maddison and KDH as a midfield two?

              Kasper

Ricardo  Fofana  Evans  Castagne

Albrighton   Maddison   KDH

....perhaps swapping Lookman for Perez and Vardy for Nacho, don't be so surprised, it may just be what Rodgers ends up doing!!!

Logically 3-5-2 is more attacking and gets Maddison in the #10 role.
