Great that the **** is finally going but the damage is already done in many ways. It was done the day he became PM, his premiership was always going to be a disaster because he's a ****ing feckless liability.

Public services to strike. Boris to carry the can for it. Ousted. New leadership put in place. Public services to receive a worse deal as a reaction to feckless Johnson.

I dont think there will be any more, the other big 3 ministers of state have confirmed they are staying.

There's no precedent for 2 senior cabinet ministers (arguably the most senior after PM) resigning. It hasn't happened. This is genuinely new territory. 

 

He could walk, be ousted, call an election or try and cling on until 2024. But he's run out of half decent MPs to promote to cabinet positions.
