What's the precedent in this situation?

PM resigns and some other public school incompetent deputy assumes the leadership until the party take a vote and appoint some public school self serving incompetent replacement.

Jacob Rees Mogg has resigned too. Or at least, he’s told his butler and the letter is on its way via pigeon.

He's currently laid off his 11 year old chimney sweeps during the summer. If they want their jobs back in November, they're going to have to buy their own clogs as "finances are tight, don't you know"?

In other news, turns out water is wet.

Is that her real account? I ask as she says he gets all the big decisions right? Can’t recall him getting anything right ever.

I see the hardcore boneheads have pledged their loyalty: Patel, Truss, Kwarteng, Dorries, Wallis....hilarious.

The exact ones you'd expect to. No Rees-Mogg?

Quite clever how she has denied her critics the opportunity to create a parody Nadine Dorries account by doing the job herself.

Infairness as well how ****ing cheeky is it resigning as chancellor during the biggest cost of living crisis and resigning as health minister amongst the biggest NHS backlog

Totally agree. Pure self-preservation. Those two just aren't quite as stupid as the rest.

I think you're being generous in insinuating that either of those twats at any point really gave a fvck about either of those things.

The rest aren’t stupid, it’s just that Javid & Sunak have some political capital left to crawl into another cabinet position. The rest know they’re fvcked in terms of the big jobs the minute Mr Whippy is out the door, so they’re cling on to the sinking ship as long as possible.

edit: they are stupid, just not THAT stupid
