Is it more of an encouragement email? or perhaps checking if you still want the ticket? They want bums on seats, they want you buying a burger, a pint and merchandise, and to create an atmosphere, they're a business so it's in their interest

I bet Top has a full inbox bless him.

Poorly today I bet

Everyone as left a game early in their time.

I haven't ... granted i don't go to too many LCFC games cause of where i live but of the games i have been too i have never left early. The only time i got up to go early was Argentina v The Netherlands in the 2022 World Cup quarterfinal when at around the 80 min mark it was 2-0 to Argentina (i was actually walking down the stairs as Holland scored their first) obviously i stayed and it turned into one of the best games of the tournament.

However if people want to leave early that is their choice and it doesn't bother me.

This happens at the majority of stadiums so don’t think it only applies to City fans. I remember standing on the Pop side in the 60s and unable to understand why the Main stand used to start emptying before the end. I was only a teenager and wouldn’t have been concerned about trains, buses or traffic as me and my friends used to walk back into town, stopping for a bag of chips at Aylestone Rd. Chippy, then taking a leisurely stroll to Humberstone Gate where the buses ran every 20 mins. It will continue to happen so can some of you stop banging on about it.

Good hypothetical. There's no way it applies to the vast, vast majority of zombies leaving today.

Absolutely. The droves of people that got up when Brighton went 2-0 weren’t going to relieve their wife’s carer. The most baffling thing for me yesterday was how many people were on the way out when Vardy scored and just carried on to leave 🤦🏻‍♂️

If people want to stand around queueing or get stuck on Freeman's Common for an hour that's their choice, but I will admit I'm probably going to try and miss that when a game is dead and buried. Don't get how having a life outside of football makes me a bellend, but there you go.

It’s just another example of how passive our home support is.

Away support we have always been right up there but a good 9,000-12,000 of our home end turn up, eat their sandwiches with their headphones on listening to BBC RL and leave at 80-85 mins.

Loads by me left very early yesterday and by the time the 2nd went in the vast majority were heading for the exits. Each to their own and all that but my opinion is every now and again it’s ok to leave early (you’ve got somewhere you need to be or we’re 4-0 down with 10 mins to go etc) but if you’re doing it every week regardless , then you really need to plan better.

Yesterday me and the Mrs were going to leave about the 88th minute when it went 2-0 so we could try and get the 4.20 train but when Vardy scored that plan went out the window and we ended up getting the 5.20. Some people don’t have that flexibility but like I say maybe they need to come up with alternative arrangements if they need to leave early regardless of scoreline

I leave 4 or 5 minutes early often. It's the difference between a 30 minute journey home or two hours. Why does it bother other people? So odd.

That's astonishing. Does it take you two hours to get home everytime you stay until full time :dunno:

Predicted 2-2 yesterday

When Brighton scored second was shocked how many people left.

We score late on I stay until end as always expect a come back.

I’ll never understand why people choose to park in Freemen’s Common. I did it once and never again.

Yup especially since theirs plenty of free parking 15 min max walk away from the ground

If that's at 90 mins, we're 2 down and there a few short mins of injury time, fair enough, your choice.

If it's 78 minutes like it was for a couple of thousand yesterday then just accept the game and the team isn't that important to you. Because you go there to see them score, to see them pick up points, to win. You'll always get a few that do it but in the last two seasons people are getting to about 80 or 82 minutes and heading off. I've watched other games on TV and it's pretty much a Leicester thing. Our supporters definitely give less of a shit.

Lady behind me usually leaves early and says its because she has to get to work. I always think that's fair enough. Yesterday just as Vardy scored she said proudly 'im just going to have to be late today'.

I been supporting LCFC all my life. I rarely leave early but yesterday I did.

My son couldn't come to the game as usual so I was on my own. I was cold, not feeling great and needed a pee. I was walking down the steps when Vardy scored and sat back down. Then decided to have that pee and watched the equaliser from the concourse.

Not great that I missed it live but made slightly better by flagging a taxi and beating the traffic, getting to the pub in time for the start of Spurs v Chelsea. Wasn't bothered about watching that game but it was a nice bonus.

I understand all the arguments and whilst as I say I rarely go early, I have no issues with those who do. We don't know the individuals who do and  their personal circumstances and they are perfectly entitled to leave at any time. Not sure why this doesn't make them supporters or that those who stay are better supporters. Some those staying to choose to boo at full time on occasion which I suggest contradicts the definition of supporter (though they are course entitled to boo). Leaving early doesn't make you a bellend.

You're absolutely right. It's the people who cause inconvenience to those remaining that should be called out.

The club should incentivise/reward fans for staying behind every game using a loyalty point scheme. Something like that could work if there was a way to successfully enforce it.

I travel 2 hrs for home games. Not once have I considered leaving early even at 3-0 down. It’s an alien concept to me. At no point did I think we would score 2 goals yesterday, but I stay because there’s always that chance

Is a response required to the emails?

If so, mine would be "mind your own ****ing business". Or would that get me a ban? lol

Probably more of a "we noticed you weren't at the game, do you realise there's a resale platform?" type email.
