Yep, he’ll be picked up after next season.

He’s 19

they’ll have to up his current deal but can keep him for a few years - they’ve got a decent squad for a few years aswell so he’ll be happy enough there.

Brighton are the new Leicester. Everything is cyclical and our glory period is well and truly over.

we were never able to play like they do against opposition as good as Man City

Same Brighton which Everton pasted, what a joke.

Brighton were all over them - just a crazy game

Brighton will be even better if they finally pick up a good striker

Although probably going to lose 2 or 3 in the summer so will be interesting to see how they deal with that, as well having to deal with European football

Absolute joy to watch that first half Brighton performance.

Some young lads with absolutely no fear with some sublime technical ability.

Hopefully they aren't ripped apart for there players over the summer. They are better off there where they will play every week.

Still can't believe they lost to Everton though.

Mind remember when we played top team West Brom in 2007-08 season, hammered the baggies 4-1! but still got relegated a month later.

Not sure about that. Beat them 3-1 and 5-2 at their place not so long ago.

By generally playing compact and then breaking out effectively

brighton have gone toe to toe with Man City

We went toe to toe with them in the Kompany game and at the Charity Shield. Also the Claude Puel Ricardo game. And the Vardy hattrick game.

toe to toe means man for man

we didn’t do that - maybe the charity shield where they played a pretty weak side

when we won 5-2 we had 28% possession

kompany game we had 39% which was better but 7 shots to their 19. Maybe we were more expansive that evening - I don’t recall

In the Ricky goal game we only had 33% of the ball but we matched their shot tally so assume we were more aggressive that day
