RowlattsFox Posted 22 December 2024 Posted 22 December 2024 Cmon on then Danny, would love it if he came in and had a blinder and shut a few people up...one can hope I get that he's been poor for us but some of the personal attacks since last week have been pretty disgusting. 1 2

Genuinely not seen any disgusting personal attacks about Ward on here? What have I missed? 😮

Popular Post Fox42 Posted 22 December 2024 Popular Post Posted 22 December 2024 I think everyone has forgotten about that little spell Ward went on in late 2022 right before the World Cup kicked off. Pretty sure at one point around then, he had the record for most clean sheets in the league after 11 games. He has it in his locker somewhere, and I’d like to think under RVN that there’s a great chance that we could see that very soon. 1 11
Popular Post Iran Posted 22 December 2024 Popular Post Posted 22 December 2024 (edited) I understand the situation isn't ideal, but if Mads Hermansen isn't fully 100% fit then I would rather Danny Ward to start. Edited 22 December 2024 by Iran 12

Goalkeepers use their hands to save the ball . Ward is abysmal. He starts . We lose. 7
Nolucklcfc Posted 22 December 2024 Posted 22 December 2024 The thing with ward is he doesn’t make any glaring errors but he saves absolutely nothing. I can’t remember him ever making a really decent save. 2

Danny Ward who is so good with his feet he spent last season in the Seagrave canteen fetching Stolarczyk's dinner. Genuinely don't think Iversen is any bit worse than Ward at passing out, they're both a bit shit.

Obviously Hermansen should start if he's fit, but is that the case? Unless they opted to take him out early in the Newcastle match because they had one eye on this match...

Popular Post Heskey2011 Posted 22 December 2024 Popular Post Posted 22 December 2024 Ward or Stolar ideally. But the Leicester YouTube just shown a clip entitled "Pre Wolves Prep" featuring Iversen facing 3 shots while Danny Ward watches on, irritatingly, from the background like an ominous ghoul, he has the same look about him as those paparazzi in America who rush to the scene of motorway pile ups for gruesome pictures, there was a film about it, with the lord of the rings hobbit guy in it. 1 5
dmayne7 Posted 22 December 2024 Posted 22 December 2024 Occured to me that it's not even a case of whether Ward is any good, it's that he looks mentally shot when he plays in the PL. Did alright in the cup game against Walsall but it's like he's got the footballing equivalent of the yips when he has to play in a PL game. Needs some serious help from a sports psychologist.

when_you're_smiling Posted 22 December 2024 Posted 22 December 2024 Any new manager that comes in is going to use it as a clean slate for all players. Up to Ward to take his chance.
Lambert09 Posted 22 December 2024 Posted 22 December 2024 So much optimism for a manager killed in an instant. Mind blowing
BigGibbo Posted 22 December 2024 Posted 22 December 2024 No hyperbole - he genuinely would not start for any other football league team. Unfathomable how no one else at the club could see this obvious fact. 4
