Most goalkeepers take charge and clean out the players in the way as they kick the ball. He's too weak and scared to do it.

He's far too complacent, Rodgers refusing to give Iversen a go, means there's no pressure on Ward of him losing his spot. Rodgers spoke about new signings providing competition for places but refuses to do just that with the keeper.

He hardly makes a save, looks like he’s panicking one on one, makes rash decisions and doesn’t breathe confidence in anyone around him.

Kept thinking it’s just something that we have to accept having this bloke in goal, but the constant mix ups and zero saves means this is something that could send us down. Surely … surely Iverson can’t be this bad?

Noticed in the warm up that Iversen wouldn't dive to his left. At all. When the players take their shots to him and Smithies. And whenever he would dive to his right, he would hold his left arm close to his body.

He was a clown once again, poor communication with his defence, forgot where the middle of the goal was when Trossard scored but luckily was chalked off.

 

Really hope Iversen plays on Tuesday in a step up in class compared to his other games for us and has a good game. Probably will count for nothing but this is on Rodgers now our goalkeeping predicament. I'm not even sure Ward is Championship class, let alone PL worthy.
