Scarves for Southampton - WYS

Now that the club is starting to listen to the fans and When you're smiling is being played pre match.. can we try and get as many scarves at the ground for the game against Southampton so they can be held up during it? Hopefully this can carry on to the coming seasons too. 

 

  

 

I've emailed the club asking for WYS to be played a little longer during the whole world smiles with you part too instead of being just cut off... 

 

Edit: It'd be good if people could spread the word and UFS putting a post on their socials?

I doubt they are just going to be able to play it longer, the reason it gets cut off is because the match needs to start, the club don't get to choose when the ref blows for kick off

I'm forever blowing bubbles gets played past kick off, so i doubt that's the case..

We play about 15 shit songs before kick off, WYS is a nod to our heritage.

Do you cringe at all clubs playing historically relevant songs before kick off, or just us?

Our post horn gallop gets played as the players enter the pitch, which is when WYS gets cut off, they arent going to stop that happening any time soon are they

 

The other option is moving all the montages earlier, which also isnt going to happen

Well this is wrong. 

 

WYS has been played just as the players are kicking off... so again, I doubt that's a problem.

Not going to get much buy in currently with the flat feeling around the place. 
Much better to push before the first game of next season.

 

Edit - Ash ufs will be doing this in pre season.

Well I think all kick off times are pre arranged ? if not it's a bit of a lottery .

No. You’re not alone. Other clubs old songs are often equally as bad. Everton and their ‘Grand old club’ song being a particularly naff example..

Genuine question. 

 

I just get the impression we have started playing WYS just before kick off as a way to try and copy other clubs in what they do with their songs. which in my mind is quite cringe. It maybe very basic logic in my mind and im happy for someone to educate me if i have missed something
