Forest Moved to Monday 3rd October, 8pm

Ridiculous, police didn’t want the 4:30 Sunday or the 5:30 Saturday because of the possible all day drinking but 8:00 Monday night is acceptable

They are obviously hoping that a working day KO means most people are working and don't have time to get beers in. Otherwise makes no sense. Surely a Sunday 12:00 would be ideal for police. Not sure if that slot clashes with other Sky broadcasts (e.g. EFL).

Working man here has just booked half a day off to go and get the beers in for it.

We are allowed to drink at work thanks to Partygate so joke is on them really!

I'll be at a concert in Manchester - many happy returns to us both for then!

I just laughed when I read it. Another game I'll miss but just expect it now.

I live a fair distance away yet only used to miss 3/4 home games a season, even with 23 a year. That is now 4 in 7 with the train strike in two weeks included.

Yes, will remain the early KO

That’s perfect, I wasn’t sure whether it was just the Wednesday or both days.. but that works out well, thank you..

It specifically mentioned away on the Wednesday. Probably to give them extra recovery time. Given they play Tuesday it's fine.

Brighton away is now on Sky on Sunday. This is after the PL did a right balls up regards Chelsea v West Ham, which now has to be played Saturday

What's the issue with the Chelsea vs West Ham thing? Saw it was TBC on BBC the other day but couldn't figure out what it was.

EDIT - nevermind, just seen they play Zagreb on Tuesday. Thought that was Wednesday.

thats ridiculous

how many supporters travelling from overseas will have made arrangements to arrive late Saturday or even Sunday morning

and whilst it’s a London derby, people make arrangements

I assume that this was always tagged as ‘subject to change’ like our Man City k/off time ? If so, that’s half an excuse

Why?!

on Amazon and they tend to stagger the kick off times no idea why probably to deal with streaming traffic / people can watch more football that way. But 8:15 feels a bit late.....

I posted earlier in the thread that this could happen.

It is ridiculous but if Man City get drawn to play on the Tuesday 25th of October for Champions league then their scheduled league game on the Sunday 23rd of October has to move to the Saturday 22nd October which then means the Thursday 20th game has to move to the 19th, if that happens then there will be an empty 20:15 slot on the 20th to fill and we will get moved from 19:30 to fill that slot
