All the big nations should come together and refuse to play any matches in the usa.

Cue more tariff threats and the takeover of countries by the USA because they are stupid to think that Trump might be wrong.

Russia was banned for invading Ukraine, trump may invade Greenland yet be allowed to host in a world cup?? Also an Olympics in two years.

If the whole thing still goes ahead, the best we could do is to boycott the games being held in the USA. Only attend/watch games in Canada and Mexico. Packing out the stadiums in Canada and Mexico but having half empty grounds in the USA would give Trumps ego a massive hit, and Make Fifa look silly at the same time.

It wont happen though, seeing as all of England's games are in the USA, and too many people don't care enough about the political side of things enough to stop them watching a bunch of blokes knock a bag of air around a field.

Best. Idea. Ever.

Some things are more important than football. Stage a substitute tournament with fewer teams if you must.

This would hit Trump and Infantino like a 50 pound hammer straight to the nads.

Scotland wait almost 30 years to get to a world cup and when we finally do, it's ruined by Trump and his Gestapo. Cheers guys! At least give us the chance to ruin it for ourselves.

Something I didn't know until this morning.........

Do you know what was No. 1 in the charts on 30th July 1966, when England won the World Cup after extra time?

Great song, too (even if the singer comes across like a cross between Harry Redknapp and Steve Cooper)....

3 friends I go to the games with qualified for "fans first" tickets via Fifa,  it's saved them a fortune.

They've paid $50 per game up front for every round to the final if Scotland get there........roughly £300.

Before Fifa relented, it was costing them £4k upfront.

I can just see Trump sitting next to fifa president Usa v Spain quarter finals... spain scores to make it 1-0 in injury time... Trump is then seen talking to trump president... commentators "wait var says its offside... but all the spain players are onside how did var come to that conclusion"

Hope you’ve sobered up mate.

Apparently there's a "major concern" within FIFA about apparent "lack of hype" for the upcoming WC and they "don't know why". Lots of seats still unsold.

Hmm... it's a mystery, isn't it?

I imagine some might "last minute discount" purchase tickets,  perhaps locals or MAGA loyal billionaires to help trump see out the greatest world cup ever.

If I were any South/central American or brown fan, I would never (in the current climate) fly to the states.

Scotland will be based in Charlotte- about 20 miles from me. Shame it’s not England as I might have made an effort to go.
