Nice to see that we might genuinely have made a bit of a find.

Mitoma got to Brighton via their team USG so you never know!

Don't think he's gets a work permit, needs another season at OHL.

If he plays a lot for them in the 1st half of next season we could consider recalling him in January as I believe he would probably be able to get one then

If Genk score again vs Charleroi, Leuven will qualify for the ECL group stage.

Also need Cercle and Anderlecht not to score...

Not even going to pretend to understand the formal but doesn't it split out in to different playoff groups after game 34.

Yeah it splits the top 4 into one group and 5th to 8th into another

The top 4 group play against each other to decide the overall winner and who gets Champions League / Europa League

5th to 8th play each other to decide who gets to go into a playoff with the team who finishes 4th in the other group for a place in Europa Conference

Hirst looks like he has all the attributes to have a decent career as a League One/Championship striker. Which for 99.99% of the football pyramid would be a brilliant achievement so fair play to him. I imagine if we go down he'll be in our squad next season as a Plan B option off the bench, or if we stay up we'll look to sell.

Ah good old George usually described on here as absolute rubbish. We should sell him to Ipswich for a couple of million and end this sorry chapter.

It’s league one and he’s only just started scoring , don’t start crowing just yet .

league 1might be his level, its hard to judge at this point though to be fair

I think it's a little too early to write Hirst off as L1 standard. He proved he can do it at that level, with 17 goals in 3357 minutes played, the equivalent in 37 games in minutes.

Championship he only played 945 minutes, 10.5 games worth, the majority of that was for an awful Rotherham side.

He only got 270 minutes at Blackburn the equivalent in 3 games in minutes.

Not a fair comparison since he's played fewer minutes than the rest, but nonetheless he's got the best player score for OHL on whoscored.com
