You don't have to be obsessed with wingers to play a game of football, there are other formations. Liverpool don't play with wingers in their 433. It's about playing the players you have in a way that brings the best out of them with some due regard to the opposition. Just playing systems for systems sake is arguably why we're so dull and ineffectual.
