Why is it that Leicester City's finances are affected by our owner's main tourism business because of COVID but Chelsea face no consequences whatsoever by their owner being sanctioned by the UK government because of his connections to a war criminal whom they owe £1.5bn and being sold to another billionaire?

Russians in control of London's finances and investments. Politicians in the pay of Russian Oligarchs (maybe). Too afraid to do what is right because of the fear of loss of investment. I imagine this would be the same if Chinese billionaires owned Chelsea or any other London club. Our Gov need their money and their presence in our financial structure, whether that be investing in huge properties in Mayfair etc or investing in top football clubs. We'll never really sanction them out of our financial or investment needs.

Let me guess wasting money on s**t players eg 14m for Vesty plus nearly 5m a year wages paying signing on fee for Bertrand and paying him nearly 5m a year, Ward cost us 10m, Hamza on 60k a year....the list goes on etc etc

Yes but then you look at other teams what they have spent without selling players like we have how is it possible we are the worst something doesn't add up to me

It hasn’t made them any better though, has it.

I keep hearing that as if anyone suddenly expected us to become Real Madrid overnight because of shiny new facilities.

It's infrastructure, it helps us maintain and improve the set up of the club, from the fitness to thescience, the pitches and the academy etc

Should have stayed at the Belvoir Drive cowshed and left us in the 1980s.

This is why the club wants to expand the stadium and build the brand globally - they’re desperate to grow their commercial revenue as we haven’t got the income to support the current wage structure.

They tried to keep the success going and gambled on last season being another strong one having got close to CL twice in a row but it was a failure.

Looks like the FA Cup win was our peak in the short term at least, been one punch to the stomach after another since.

Partly wouldn't have helped when we overly increased BR's salary. Then he requested to raise the entire backroom staff. And we bent over and said yes.

Yeah we do, they release accounts. We lose money all the time and not to them.

They clearly aren't telling the truth to us fans, They will never have the money like they did before covid happened. New owner, new director of football, new board team, new manager, then we can rebuild the club and team and go forward again

Any dividends or loans repaid will be clearly shown in the accounts.  Unless we see that, cool it!

We all know that businesses have a way of making sure their finances are beyond reproach. You're naïve if you think this doesn't go on here just because KP has given money to our hospitals etc. I was proud then but now I'm sceptical of a smokescreen. I hope I'm wrong, but we'll never know

Yes, it’ll be the finest facility in the championship next season that’s for sure.

If you think they can hide enough money leaving the club to fund a billion dollar business you are deluded.

Maybe it will but it won't be responsible for us being there.

Worryingly, they're first and foremost a business empire and we are more or less a trinket on their arm. Disposable and forgotten when success turns to failure. They'll move on. We'll be sunk.

Clearly they won't be using entirely money from LCFC. We're just one of many investments that they will have around the world. If you can't see that, you are deluded.

Everyone knows we spend pretty much all our operating income on wages. So if you make no extra from transfers, why is anyone surprised when you have to pay other things too?

Im still skeptical it would be that high, i’d expect it to be closer to 100m

This. It’s not rocket science or surprising.

And the perfect way to asset strip us was buy £60m worth of new players.
