Another reason why the jury’s out as to whether just sacking Rodgers will be ‘the answer’. Some posters are claiming exactly that. That if Rodgers goes, we’ll end up in mid table security.

There’s a lot more to this than just Rodgers. The club is skint. And it’s been run pretty badly now for some time. 
If we are bottom still come the next transfer window, or near to bottom, we won’t have a lot of money to go out and buy a player or two to make a big difference.

The real problem imo is that we have a squad we can’t sell. Whilst people on here have been making a cult hero out of Amartey, have they not realised that he’s on relatively big wages and that no-one wants him. Same for Perez, Vestergaard and umpteen others.

Why is it that Leicester City's finances are affected by our owner's main tourism business because of COVID but Chelsea face no consequences whatsoever by their owner being sanctioned by the UK government because of his connections to a war criminal whom they owe £1.5bn and being sold to another billionaire?

United's losses will go close to Leicester's, with their deficit to be £117m after splashing out on Cristiano Ronaldo, Jadon Sancho and Raphael Varane last summer.

Yes commercially, but was in response to if KP took money out of the club, which can they do as a dividend - not sure. My ignorance in this area is fairly high to be honest.

One thing I've learned, Thai people are awful bussiness people and massive over spenders.

 

They mostly end up broke.

For a club with owners in the commercial/retail world, that aspect of their ownership has been dire. PL win should have opened up millions of new fans globally and lots more commercial deals. Especially now we've had the FA cup win, back to back 5th places finishes etc.

I dont think its that.

 

Its more likely that we’ve just got too many personnel in high level positions that have been over promoted and gotten too comfortable.

From a cost point of view there are few unknowns ether, make no sense spending the money unless they thought it would get them CL football. 

They clearly thought that as we were on the cusp of champions league football we went all in. I can’t criticise that - ambition I want to see. Unfortunately in hindsight it’s cost us with poor signings etc
