I suspect that many managers believe they can be the ones to help fix his concentration and take his game to that next level. But even so, if that all fell into place, whilst it would make him a good defender at this level, he still doesn't have the attributes to be top class.

Long Eaton Fox Posted 24 November 2024 Posted 24 November 2024 Think faes needs dropping. Good overall play but concedes a goal scoring chance every game. Vestergaard or coady? Okoli to start as his pace is important.
VLC86 Posted 24 November 2024 Posted 24 November 2024 Imagine appointing this twat your vice captain. Recon FM will have his leadership stats at about 5. 1

Kompany, Vertonghen, Alderweireld, Vermaelen as your CB choices. It's been a drop into the void in terms of quality to end up at Faes. 1

Any nation that has to give Dennis Praet some caps did not have a golden generation.
Dmitry Posted 24 November 2024 Posted 24 November 2024 I wonder if there’s a statistic demonstrating the number of losses resulting from his errors. I am willing to wager that us dropping into the Championship had been a direct consequence of his inane and bizarre mistakes. Him and Danny aka the human spider… 1

Their golden generation was around the 2018 world cup. Praet wasn't in the squad. Courtois, Vertonghen, Kompany, Alderweireld, Dembele, Witsel, Chadli, Eden Hazard, De Bruyne, Lukaku was their semi final losing line up. More than just De Bruyne. Eden Hazard for starters. Edited 24 November 2024 by JimJams I said there instead of their. I have chopped my left hand off as recompense.

Hazard I'll give you. Maybe Courtois too. Still doesn't constitute a golden generation imo.

They went from not qualifying for any major tournament for a decade to being ranked no.1 in the world for ages and smashing their qualification groups every time. Even if you don't rate some of those players above as world class or whatever, a golden generation is relative to the players you've had previously and on that basis I don't know how you could argue it isn't one. 4

Corky Posted 24 November 2024 Posted 24 November 2024 Hopefully the next manager will either bin him or tell him to buck his ideas up. 3
Trav Le Bleu Posted 24 November 2024 Posted 24 November 2024 I hope he's happy now he's got his boss sacked!
Will1981 Posted 24 November 2024 Posted 24 November 2024 Hopefully the new manager sees sense and we never see Faes in a Leicester shirt again. 1

Samilktray Posted 24 November 2024 Posted 24 November 2024 Still remember him giving it some to the fans when we scored against Norwich last season. I’ve considered him to be a not very nice man ever since, certainly not somebody I’d like to be friends lets put it that way! 2
jayfox26 Posted 24 November 2024 Posted 24 November 2024 Get him gone in Jan. A new manager won't change his shit attitude and the fact he doesn't want to be here. Can see all of Europe's top clubs will be queuing up to sign him.
drew Posted 24 November 2024 Posted 24 November 2024 Faes is the epitome of the dunning kruger effect 1

Never rated him tbh the quicker his gone the better for everyone, one that really annoys me apart from making mistakes every game,is we he feels he needs to dribble the ball from cb and try and score, thus leaving a massive gap for every team to exploit,it's not like his rapid and can even get back, apart from his mistake for the goal, when he whent offside for the free kick at the end,how does that even happen? Clearly thinks his better then us,always rumours of him leaving in the newspaper, he would be doing us a massive favour if he left tbh, cant wait for the day all of Rodgers bad buys are gone!!!
