Popular Post Double Decker Posted 10 August 2025 Popular Post Posted 10 August 2025 Booing any of the players as they come on is unbelievable. Embarrassing. 9
Devonfox1884 Posted 10 August 2025 Posted 10 August 2025 Think the problem I have is he’s essentially dishing it back to all the fans when only a small minority actually booed him. Harsh on a lot there today to react like he did instead of making the most of a good moment in time - a late winner. On a human level I understand it to an extent, but at the same time I think it was somewhat petulant and immature. 2
MPH Posted 10 August 2025 Posted 10 August 2025 Looking back at a replay of the Faes goal, it didn’t sound like the booing towards him started until after he was cupping his hands to his ears and mouthing off at the fans.. please correct me if I’m wrong! 3
LeePhilpottsBaldSpot Posted 10 August 2025 Posted 10 August 2025 (edited) Me and my mates got told off for "booing" by a woman in front of us when he came on. We were definitely saying "Woouuuutt" Fair play to him today, looked levels above the game when he came on. Edited 10 August 2025 by LeePhilpottsBaldSpot 1

In fairness hes probably been one of our most hated players for a while, I think hes a complete cock but I don’t think there’s much wrong with giving it back tbh 1
Dan Posted 11 August 2025 Posted 11 August 2025 It's absolutely mental to have a situation like that on the opening day. What a joke.
STUHILL Posted 11 August 2025 Posted 11 August 2025 Can we confirm he was genuinely booed when he came on or was it a "Wooooout" situation? He definitely took it as booing it seems. I wouldn't be that surprised either way. Seems early to single him out but maybe if it was Vesty coming on from the bench instead, then he would have been booed too. Part of me would love to kick him out of the club, buttttt he does look a very good CB at this level and I want the best 11 despite my personal gripes 1

I hate the guy, and whilst I didn't boo him myself, I knew exactly what was coming so paid attention to it. There were definitely others who did boo. There were also definitely others shouting "Woooooooot". I'd say it was more booing than the latter. Edited 11 August 2025 by Craig 1
SemperEadem Posted 11 August 2025 Posted 11 August 2025 The booing passed over me, really thought it was folk saying his name. 1

em9999 Posted 11 August 2025 Posted 11 August 2025 Why should anyone cheer or show enthusiasm toward cant defend faes ??? 1 1

So it could also have been that when he came on?
KFS Posted 11 August 2025 Posted 11 August 2025 I’ve posted this three times today, but how the **** are some people even saying “Woo” 1

CL Fox Posted 11 August 2025 Posted 11 August 2025 Dewsbury hall did exactly the same thing last championship season (although I don't think he said **** off).
Gloria Posted 11 August 2025 Posted 11 August 2025 (edited) @lanefox Wout initially went to the right and then moved to the other side of the goal in front of SK1... Edited 11 August 2025 by Gloria Reply intended

Certainly appeared to. He'll do well to remember it was a very small proportion of fans that booed him, however loud booing always sounds. He will end up alienating everyone else if he starts being a first class c*** about it. Yes he did, we don’t need any of that kind of behaviour ! Id love to see him go

Really shows the disconnect between the club and the fans at present. Everyone just seems like they've had enough which going forward isn't going to help
Phil Mitchell Posted 11 August 2025 Posted 11 August 2025 What baffles me with this bloke is that he thinks he’s only just getting the hate now. Genuinely thought he was doing a sound job before yesterday and ultimately discovered the truth. Stuff your goal, Okoli would have finished that standing on his Cory. Tool. Phil
