I’m no apologist for Rogers and I think it’s time for him to go but the players have a lot to answer for after this performance. The goals we scored should have been enough to win the game but we gifted them the first 4 goals through individual mistakes. The manager can’t legislate for that.

**** off Maddison..."A Brendan Rodgers side we all know".

"It's not the manager".

I know you've gotta play the game but don't take the piss.

I suspect he's not really thinking that. He's not naive or stupid enough to call out his own boss.

We were okay for 60 mins, as per a few games this season. However, we were terrible the last 30 mins, as per every game this season. Awful defending, terrible tactically and so open in transitions along with poor set piece management. Rodgers stays and we are definitely down as no better than derby in their record season.

We evidently have no stamina past 60 mins, which we need to sort and then we need to hopefully get a manager that can keep is in the league

WE CONCEDED A GOAL EVERY 20 MINUTES IN THE FIRST HOUR

During the "Great Escape" season, we never played one game or even one half as badly as today. Now just watching Maddison now being interviewed. He look broken😞

Not true. We were dreadful for long periods of that season/

If I can take a positive out of today, some of our attacking was alright. Maddison the biggest positive.

Other than that, utterly shocking collapse. Especially at a time when we looked to be still in the game.

Conte changed things. Their subs were better. Their shape was stronger. They were less clumsy. We lost our belief that we could score again.

Yeah the only positive lately is Maddison, you can’t really fault his mentality or commitment in the games played

But he is responsible for the mood, the culture, the resilience, the man management and all of that is why the players look league 1 standard.

He didn't really need to say any of that.

As I said I understand he has to 'play the game' as you said he's not naive or stupid enough to call out his own boss but he wasn't directly asked any question that need such responses or answers of that ilk.

To have two players caught in possession leading to a goal in one game is indicative of the happy clapping back patting weasel we have in charge.

It's hard to defend him now. Our defensive frailty has been so obvious for so long, it's criminal that we are making the same mistakes over and over.

The Kane goal tonight was because one defender was man marking and the other was stepping for offside, that's such basic stuff. In times like these, we need to just man mark and ensure everyone knows that is the game plan.  Also Castagne on Kane!? Why!? Put Evans or the new guy on him!  We need a Huth or Morgan equivalent to win those battles!

Ndidi losing the ball like that in midfield came from us playing that crap tip tap around the back, our passing is so laboured and predictable, when you're constantly passing in the same triangle all game, of course you're going to get found out.

We have lightning pace in Daka and Vardy, yet we never release them early and keep the ball so long the opposition nullify the threat so easily, we give them time to get 11 men behind the ball.

We need to move the ball much quicker, we need to man mark set pieces (ensuring the main threats are marked by appropriate opposition) and we need to be looking to release our main threats much more quickly, pressing much higher up the field.

Its not rocket Science!

I agree but we was always in the game, only being beaten by the odd goal

Fans equally culpable at this point, only a minority chanting for him to go even at 6-2.

The whole club is pathetic.

But what he could do is look at that game with 30 minutes to go and think we need a sub with the player's we have on the bench but no no no rodgers nos best cant make a sub till 70 minutes plus by that time we are 4-2 and game over also to keep playing ward is unforgivable

Conte managed. Rodgers didn’t. He no longer knows what to do in games. And hasn’t done for ages. And can’t motivate the team either. He has become a vacuous nonentity with nothing to offer. Why on earth is he still here?

He'll be delighted with it.

How he can condone such a style where we find ourselves in those posisiton regularly yet be apoplectic about being 3-0 up at HT against West Brom just blows my mind.

All because when we were 3-0 up at HT we 'weren't controlling the game'. That night told me everything I need to know about the man.
