Fans equally culpable at this point, only a minority chanting for him to go even at 6-2.

The whole club is pathetic.

I've been disgusted with our fans in our last 2 home games.

Shithouses.

This was very similar to when we lost to them (think it was 6-1?) at home under Shakespeare. Son and Kane just tear us apart every time we have to go forward and leave space behind.

Unbelievable both of them have their most goals against us

I think it’s down to a severance pay off Rodgers wants £10m Top needs to say Fuch off you’re not doing your job so you get £1m or Nothing !

Then they are both acting like kids.

They need to sort it, one way or the other, or else we go down, and the cost of that will be massive

Never mind watching MotD - I paid Sky £11.99 to watch this. Which means I don't have to watch the after match analysis - or should I say 'post mortem'. Unless Rodgers leaves soon there'll be a lifeless corpse with the words written on a label - "LCFC first team - could not resuscitate" tied to its big toe.

We were okay for 60 mins, as per a few games this season. However, we were terrible the last 30 mins, as per every game this season. Awful defending, terrible tactically and so open in transitions along with poor set piece management. Rodgers stays and we are definitely down as no better than derby in their record season.

We evidently have no stamina past 60 mins, which we need to sort and then we need to hopefully get a manager that can keep is in the league

To be fair it all started with that pass from Evans to Wilf that resulted in the 3rd goal.  It was all downhill from that moment.

Taylor got manager of the month in September I'm sure.

Thing with Taylor was things were going well but you could see the vulnerabilities, remember the Xmas game  and we looked shite but did not implode until the FA cup shambles and then poof, never recovered.

Conte managed. Rodgers didn’t. He no longer knows what to do in games. And hasn’t done for ages. And can’t motivate the team either. He has become a vacuous nonentity with nothing to offer. Why on earth is he still here?

Well you might ask!

I don't buy the compensation angle any more, relegation would cost a heck of a lot more

Maybe they are having a "thing" ???

My last words to a colleague on Friday "Son has been shit all season, will definitely put three past us". Wish I'd had a ****ing tenner on it.

At 2-2, a bloke in the pub where I watched it predicted it would end 6-2 and Son would come on and score a hat-trick......wonder what odds he'd have got? :S

Just a reminder, a game of football lasts for 90 mins. Playing well for x minutes counts for ****.

But what he could do is look at that game with 30 minutes to go and think we need a sub with the player's we have on the bench but no no no rodgers nos best cant make a sub till 70 minutes plus by that time we are 4-2 and game over also to keep playing ward is unforgivable

Let’s be honest we really don’t have that much quality to bring off the bench and that isn’t Rodgers fault to be fair.

Had my hopes you could have put a dent in them, but this seems a hard walk right now. Fair enough, they were very efficient, 6 goals in 11 shots on goal, but still.

Tottenham were very poor in general play tbh, which makes this even harder to take. They barely strung 2 passes together all game.  First 4 goals were all terrible ones to concede - 2 off corners and 2 off individual mistakes. The scoreline is hugely flattering for them. Sorry, if that makes me sound salty but it is true.

If I can take a positive out of today, some of our attacking was alright. Maddison the biggest positive.

Other than that, utterly shocking collapse. Especially at a time when we looked to be still in the game.

Conte changed things. Their subs were better. Their shape was stronger. They were less clumsy. We lost our belief that we could score again.

They made four changes while the game was at 3-2. We didn't make any before it was 4-2. Worracock.

I'm wondering if Brendan has taken the '5 subs is for the top 6 clubs' claims literally
