A couple of additions to strengthen, maintain this football philosophy where team structure, movement and desire is worth collectively more than just an ideology that possession and control will win you football games and we have a chance.

That voice in his head is going to make the next 6 weeks very very long for Rodgers.

Brighton,Fulham at least need to crash + others can't also have such runs as we would want..plus a couple of big guys waver...and we go on a phenomenal run.We need our bottom 6 teams to take points that nothing is certain..!

That's just answering the needs, doesn't mean such things can't happen..

Don't throw yet your top 6 bet away...

We like doing the obvious laughable, small suprises, obliging-stuff, and those bloody Miracle turns...

I'm trying to remain positive but I can see after the world cup, we'll be into the next window when no doubt Sky and talk sport will be trying to move on Tielemans, Maddison and probably Wes Fout and we'll have all that disruption to deal with.

Its possible, a really good test of our upturn in form, will be our next match against Newcastle, if we can beat them at home, I am certain we will at least finish top half given their run of form.

Especially if we win against Newcastle. I feel we will go on a good run curious how good we will be against Liverpool away.

For the club, it's everyday life..!!

For the players,normal routine

It's the fans who keep shitting themselves & have fear of disruption and build up numerous theories, that rebound into media common-knowledge statements.

Rowley, Goodfellow,Banks then Shilton,Lineker & Smith left, Heskey & O'Niel departed..Drinkwater,Kante,eventually Mahrez...So is the PL roundabout,

Turn,Turn,Turn...

I want Tielemans & Maddison to stay, create & live their Glory with Leicester, but if not...Hey-ho,other shoots will grow.

Our club is like the The Rose ...

Just remember in the winter
Far beneath the bitter snows
Lies the seed that with the sun's love
In the spring becomes the rose

4 points with 23 to play

Only 5 off top six too… we are only 2 points from what we had last year. I’ll be looking forward and hoping we can nick a European spot. We have repaired a lot of the damage done from the first 7 already.

Don't want to get ahead of myself but we are imo clearly a better side than the likes of Fulham, Villa, Palace and Brentford who are directly above us. After that, we would need to displace one of the top 7 teams probably Brighton who will likely drop off as they do to get into 7th place and european football.

What a difference 8 games make, you have to love the over optimism/pessimism of football fans.  Personally with our start to the season, I'd be content with a mid table finish, but it is only natural to get carried away after a good run, and then start thinking of Europe.

Hum... don't really see how we can clearly be a better side of the 4 teams you mentioned when they are all above us. I'm struggling with your logic there.

need to see how well we do against teams in and around the top 10. rodgers is turning it around but the teams beaten recently have been really poor. will also depend on injuries to key players, maddison , tielemans & faes

It may be normal routine but surely you don't doubt that it had a disrupting effect for us at the start of the season?

I'm not shitting myself but can't help notice other teams don't get the Sky sell treatment that we get.

Have you not noticed that just before we play Liverpool, the "reports" are that Liverpool are considering bidding for Barnes or Tielemans.

Just before we play Chelsea. Sky have "heard" that Maddison is their number one target next window. etc.

if we were in the top 7 clear by 4 points they'd be saying it's only 4 points ahead.

we're 4 points behind and there is absolutely NO WAY we're catching up 4 points over the next 23 games ffs

i have myself down as a pretty glass half empty kinda guy but I can't imagine waking up in the mindset of some of the posters on FT

i'd be off down b&q for a length of rope asap

My main fear is that getting comfortable will see him revert to the latter. What we've seen in the past month is better than anything served up in I'd say the last two years (judged solely as a time period).

I was confident we'd win at West Ham and two months ago I'd have been absolutely certain of defeat.

It's mental that after that abysmal start we've gone into the World Cup as near to Europe as the bottom three. This squad was always capable.

True…

but other teams do suffer this gauntlet run on their star players…

Funny thing is,it’s usually older vet.journalists trying to upset “ that other team”

Actually believing..arrogantly how dare they come here & and want to share the same field, with my star spangled team.

Yes bias journalists, all from the same clique & intern protected, fed every 6-10years

by the next generation, bleeting the same arrogant rhetoric..every season.

Sort of private men’s club…

Henry Winter fought against it for years….Often will release some sarcastic quip…

Can a better team not have a bad run of form? 15 games into the season doesn’t make you a better team than the teams below you
