And as a lesser victory, keeping 7th place out of Europe.

Shameless self-promotion: I am hosting a pub quiz at the 1852 Brewery Co. in Wigston on Sunday Nov. 13 at 8pm. C'mon down.

That,  actually, would bring me immense satisfaction. Especially if it were someone like Newcastle or West Ham

I have a sneaking suspicion that Newcastle will finish higher than seventh.

Brunt's a weird one, he's 22 in a few days and barely played grown up football. Think giving a chance to a younger player will pay off more in the long run.

Hope braybrooke gets some game time.

What gets me about Brunt is that I don't understand what the club wants with him. He's 22 and he hasn't been afforded even the late loan like KDH to prove himself.

But he's not even preferred over Vestergaard as a sub option so he's clearly not in first team plans at any point either.

He's never gonna play here unless he gets one of the 2 things above, and even if he isn't gonna make it here we won't get a fee for him unless we let him play football somewhere to attract any interest.

So what are we doing with him other than just using him as desperate emergency cover to probably eventually released him for no money at the expiry of his contract?

Some of my best memories as a Leicester fan are winning this cup.

We only have a realistic chance of winning this or the FACup this season so how can it be meaningless?

Wimbledon away at Selhurst Park for the SF 2nd leg in 1997. One of the all time great awaydays with thousands of City fans there.

We went on to win the Final and into the UEFA Cup the following season. A good few thousand at the Vincente Calderon v Atletico Madrid.

Memories for the rocking chair @somebum.

Yeah man, was at both. I was mid twenties and in my prime in those days and will remember them games forever.

Makes me all nostalgic in my old age

.. you really wonder if the U21s are for keeping the development team ticking over, or are we so limited  in our view of competitive football!!!

Our shape is like a training ground yellow bib versus blue bib set up.

They do not approach the games as if it is a league set up, Beaglehole did look to win it, but took it too far and players did not get the loans early enough, so held back in their development. These players need to learn how to deal with pressure and applying a mentality to their games.

Our only problem is we have no identity of how we wish to play.
