its a PR stunt. If Ruud had a backroom staff do you really think King would get a look in?

Not only does King Power treat the fans like shit, obviously they think we're stupid as well.

When I saw the news, this was my first thought as well.

Syndical, maybe but it very likely correct, especially with all the bad press at the mo. Which I feel is unfair on Kingy, who I have nothing against and when I heard he was working with the U18s did makes complete sense. A pawn in a PR spin game.

Whilst it may be a PR stunt and deflection tactics, I am delighted he is involved always been a model pro and has a real affinity with the club, what is not to like about this, offers continuity as highly likely he will end up like Stowell where he is a constant across a number of managerial teams at the club.

Whilst the timing raises suspicions, it’s good to have him rather than seeing him turn up as a coach at another club. Strikes me as the type who will have a very good coaching / managerial career.

Bit of a difference between 80k a week and 80k a year.

You really think a first team coach will be on less then 2k a week he will probably  be on around 10k a week minimum  which equates  to close to 500k a year

£10k a week lol

This is Leicester City we are talking about who paid Alex Smithies 17k  a week to be 4th choice keeper. You think first team coaches don't earn  around 400 to 500k a year at PL level

GlassDoor has PL coaching staff on around 80k a year, so around 6.5k a month. Unsure why it's being talked about "per week" like they are still working with football wage structures. Outside of playing staff, it'll be a per month breakdown anyway.

EDIT: Worth noting that this is London based averages so you could argue it's even less than that above.

Yeah those were the kind of figures I would expect. And like you say they'll be salaried.

I think the figure will probably around that or would have guessed 100k a year but why would Glassdoor be correct? Doesn't it work by users submitting salaries and it averaging them in similar roles? How many Premier League coaching staff will be submitting salaries to Glassdoor lol?

I mean, I didn't categorically say this was factual, just giving a source for where I found the information. Either way, its anonymous which is better than trying to get an ex PL coach to divulge what he earnt publicly. That of course is unless someone on here knows an ex PL coach well enough to get that out of them.

Give him the managers job till the end of the season! Seriously what we got to lose?

We’re slowly employing managers with less experience, next manager after King would be the catering manager because he’s been around years too.

The only positive of the night was the big thumbs up from him to the banner and song for him at the end of the warm up.

What was the banner any pictures?
