I’m proper excited for him.

 

He’s one of us. Had a ST when he was younger. Not been many of those coming through.

 

He made his debut when he was 16. Clearly super talented. He has the potential to be world class, and he was born and bred in Les-tah. 
 

I agree, we as fans, shouldn’t be putting pressure on him. But I doubt he’s on FT reading all this.

Let’s calm down the kids only played against 16-18yr olds except for a brief cameo that he probably only remembers as a blur himself.

 Even in those academy games there isn’t anything there to suggest he will burst onto the scene ala Rooney, he’s got some potential but lets not put him up there before he plays a proper game as it does more harm than good for everyone involved.

I guess we’ve been kept in suspense for so long the anticipation is killing us. His little cameo under Roger’s only just wetted our appetite. He’s a very talented fearless fox with the potential to be a fans favourite.

I wonder if he's no longer considered for the U21s and he's full time with the 1st team. When fully fit he'll challenge for a spot on the bench, which hopefully will be imminently.

Still think he could do with minutes in the u21 just to give him fitness and confidence.

 

Big ask to come straight back into the first team from an ACL.

I noticed too that he’s taken advantage of all the extra rehab to bulk up which will be helpful when he goes up against big burly men 1 on 1!

 

Enzo has a plan for him so we’ll just have to be a little more patient. Once Alvez does assimilate into the 1st team we can then start dreaming about that young U14 kid that’s dribbling circles around everyone in the youth academy lol.
