Looks like a very good Maddison replacement

This is someone we need to focus on as a priority really because he can probably replace either Youri or Madders

He can play in a double pivot as an 8 or further forward as a 10

Agree with the sentiment of this thread that this is the player we should go out and sign. He could play either of Maddison's or Tielemans role, even if playing deeper is better suited for him.

Only thing to watch out for is that he's quite light and I think that in some game he may struggle pretty badly in our league. Think of players like Barnes and Chilwell that had to do extensive gym work to build up their upper body strength and how it improved them over time. He makes a lot of tackles and interceptions for his size, but we've all seen technical players getting bullied of the ball badly in this league, case in point a certain Adrien Silva.

But despite that he's a really exciting propsect. The player he reminds me of is not Tielemans but Marco Veratti, and that is meant as a massive compliment.

Yeah probably bullshit rumour but he’s the one to replace Maddison

I'm not so sure, it's 50/50 he becomes a deep lying playmaker than it is a dynamic ACM that drifts all over the place but that's the beauty of him. We probably thought the same of Tielemans when he arrived.

Whatever replacement he is, we need to get him in.

If the player has enough heart, their size means nothing. Muzzy was a skinny as a rake, but he never struggled. Nor did Mahrez. I think the mentality of the player is always something to take into consideration. It’s likely he has been small at every age, so probably has a lot of fight in him. I think he plays in this way looking at some of the footage of him...

This season he has made a mockery of his previous struggles. Its like he's just decided to not allow the clichéd stuff on his size and demeanour to dictate his career. He's kicked on big time and has adapted his game remarkably.

Can see Newcastle going after him in the summer when his price doubles to around 40m or Chelsea or Liverpool getting him for 100m in 2years time.

Liverpool were said to be watching him last year.

Contract up in 18 months, we have to act now. £15m straight up reddies.

I just don’t see him as a January signing tbh Ric.

He stated at the end of last season that he wanted to stay at Lorient for at least another season, that also led to a contract extension.

He made the right decision because he’s kicked on tremendously, but of course this will mean more suitors come summer time.

When summer does come around I just hope we don’t piss about, he should be on our radar and in all honesty, he should be number one priority.

Hope this interest doesn't end up like the ones we had last year.

Remember when we were the first ones linked to Botman last January and did nothing.....then Newcastle fancy him in the summer and get him..... he's been brilliant for them and a fans favourite.

Also we were the first ones after Charles de Kerelaere and waited and didn't make a move and he went to Milan ( dunno if it's working out for him there)

Sign him now and loan him back to Lorient until the summer when Tielemans / Maddison go. Anyway, he signed his last contract 2 years ago????

Picture the scene, you're watching QVC half pissed and there's some old trout on there trying to flaunt one of them multi purpose steam cleaners that not only clean all the muck off your floor but polish them and allow you to eat yer dinner off them.

Then you buy it, put it straight in to action, it promptly chokes on the pressure, falls apart completely and you can't even sell it on.

Blame GFFN and their unreliable sources

I did read though that he wanted to stay for at least another season.

But you know exactly how this transfer will go.

We stay up, Youri goes. Le Fee signs for Newcastle. Southampton get relegated, we sign JWP.

Reckon it'll probably go the way of Madueke in terms of us thinking he'll be a great buy at a good price, but as soon as we inquire it shoots up the price to where we dawdle on the risk aspect.

OR NOT, Signed for £10mill!

This guy fits the bill and sounds awesome. Do we have any info on whether city have any contract talks with maddison yet? Enzo could well be a like for like (backup) to maddison which we haven't had a long time although if he goes we have no dead ball specialists. I'm hoping he stays, these two would be fab playing together.

We bid for JWB, Southampton say they want £40m, we signed Jonjo Shelvey on loan

That's Enzo Le Fee. You can't believe your eyes, he's got tackles and interception stats that rival elite DCMs and then his creative stats are out of this world as well, he's some sort of French Harry Potter. Send the fcukin owls Rudkin and do the job.

Slow down im getting a semi too quickly

It does. Fée is féminine as a rule (la fée) but 'le fée' is a male fairy... which kinda makes it worse. Opposition fans field day, as I remarked in the other thread.

His surname is Breton, so during the centralisation policy in France surnames got changed to suit the French language, hence a lot of Breton surnames start with the Le etc.  The Fée part could have just been a homonym, and the Fée would have been something else in Breton, or a mistranslation.

Not heard anything, Le Fee plays a slightly different role to Maddison currently. He'd play any of the central midfield roles in our system.
