Outfox the Fox Posted 13 January 2023 Posted 13 January 2023 https://www.fleetwoodtownfc.com/news/2023/january/stolarczyk-loan-recall/ With Stolarczyk being recalled, I'm guessing Iversen is on his way out. Smithies to be Number 2, Stolarczyk, 3? And Stoke is the most likely destination, with Alex Neil already a big fan. A (part) swap with Souttar?
Popular Post moore_94 Posted 13 January 2023 Popular Post Posted 13 January 2023 Could have also been recalled because he has barely played 7
StanSP Posted 13 January 2023 Posted 13 January 2023 What will likely happen is that we give them Iversen and we lose out on Souttar
AjcW Posted 13 January 2023 Posted 13 January 2023 He's a top talent who has only been given 3 appearances. There's a lot of prem clubs doing similar this season, making quicker decisions and not letting them waste a season. Imagine he will be back out on loan before we know it! But yes he could potentially be used in a transfer also. Don't see anything in the Stoke chat, they've got a fantastic number 1 in Bursik. 1
westernpark Posted 13 January 2023 Posted 13 January 2023 I think Huth is being an active loan manager, remember we’d not had one for about 12 months when Branston left. This guy is rated highly, more so it seems than Iversen, they want Stolarczyk playing.

FrankieADZ Posted 13 January 2023 Posted 13 January 2023 as stated, the club has the option too if both parties agree(i think)plus he has hardly played and the club would have liked him to play more, kind of like with Ben Nelson and Rochdale

Sly Posted 14 January 2023 Posted 14 January 2023 Might be something in this. Bursic is leaving Stoke to join Club Bruges.
Popular Post smudger63 Posted 14 January 2023 Popular Post Posted 14 January 2023 Might as well let the lad go. Clearly not going to be given a chance here, short of injury or suspension to untouchable Ward. He was seen as one of the best keepers in the championship last season, and this season should have seen him either given a chance here, after Kaspers departure, or sold to bring in money while his stock was high, and also to let the lad move forward with his career. 6
Clever Fox Posted 14 January 2023 Posted 14 January 2023 How can Brendan be so blind, Surely he can see Ward is not the long term answer decent and all that he is. I'versen hasn't let us down in the 3 games he's played and should be given his big chance. There's no better time with nothing to play for this season than to throw him in there and find his feet. 2

FosseSpark Posted 14 January 2023 Posted 14 January 2023 If we want Souttar in then i can see why we'd loan Iversen to them. 1

A win today will be agood place to start the recovery.

I keep seeing Loan to Stoke banded about but for me I’d imagine Iversen would be looking for something permanent… being an understudy and unable to displace Kasper Schmeichel is something most would probably except… can’t say the same would be said when Danny Ward is the player you can’t dislodge! Plus he’s 26 this year which in terms of a GK isn’t old but I’d say it’s an age where most players with a bit of ambition are wanting consistency and stability Edited 14 January 2023 by dbtcity 1

I think I've made up the referential connection. I need some sleep. It wasn't even similar to 'Jessop'. All depends on where we finish...
Sly Posted 14 January 2023 Posted 14 January 2023 Might be worth keeping him for the Championship next season

He’s doesn’t care. He plays Amartey instead of Soyuncu every week due to his over inflated ego
