Y'know, thinking about it, I really don't want to see any signings this January.

To get shiny new players - fit, enthusiastic, skillfull, strong, committed and keen to attack to rescue our plight - - - and then to induct them into the BrendanBall Hall of Fame, well, it would be a crying shame.

Within a fortnight, if not injured already, they would be sloping round the pitch, passing the ball sideways, afraid to use their skills and definately take no risks or make any attacking moves. Like the Dementor he is, he will have sucked the joy of playing from their souls and they would become zombies like those we already have: weak, boring, insipid creatures unable to find the will to battle for our survival.

I've only been posting negative things as of late as that's how I've been feeling in myself and in the club. 

 

However will say that based on yesterday's game Kristiansen looks a great signing and on paper Tete should give us a lot more cutting edge. Faes has also proved a fantastic signingm

 

The new recruitment team seem to be doing their job well at least! Still think we need another cm and cb. However let's hope the injection of new talent is enough to get us over the line.
