I damaged our living room wall in angry frustration.

I was in a state of genuine disbelief. I was frustrated when Spurs scored the equaliser, as we were literally seconds away from winning.

However, my emotion just moved to genuine shock. I still remember it now, Tielemans trying to play a defence-splitting pass from kick off, Spurs regaining possession and suddenly, they were in on goal (and we all know what happened next).

I literally just stood there in silence, I was completely stunned. I am pretty sure that I just shut my laptop down straightaway. It wasn’t even a particularly ‘big game’ but easily, that was right up there for me in terms of disappointment.

Prediction for Saturday’s game:

Ricardo replaces Castagne after 70 minutes

Ricardo pulls hamstring after 88 minutes

Brendan Rodgers thread goes “hot” on FoxesTalk with people slating BR “… for bringing Ricardo back too early”

90-95mins - Kane completes 5 minute hat-trick and Son scores a fourth as Spurs overcome a 3-0 deficit to win in injury time

Can`t argue with this, we have, after all seen it happen before  :-)

The capitulation at Bournemouth was bad enough, but in four decades of supporting this club I've never seen a collapse like it. I'm still traumatised by it.

Fair point, Bournemouth did hurt. I think mainly because we were in complete control of that game and on the verge of finishing in the top four.

I was gutted after that game, but still think Spurs was worse. It’s hard to understand why because the Bournemouth game had more importance, but due to Covid and not having gone for ages I felt a bit detached from it all.

Me too mate, have not ever seen it again or even talked about it, the very thought of it still boils my piss !

I stormed out the room damaging the living room wall at the equaliser.

I went to the loo when my my wife called, Spurs have just scored. "I know", I shouted back. "No, again", she said.

"Nah" I said, "They're just showing a replay"

"I don't think that they are", she accurately replied

I remember being at uni and watching it with my housemates. It was made harder because from a neutral perspective they clearly thought that it was amazing, but I was gutted.

I just turned it off and walked out. I am glad that I wasn’t at the game that night. Like most people, I can control my emotions much more when I watch it on TV.

Totally agree. I was shaking my head days after. I was at the game and it was more shock than anger really. Unbelievable how brainless footballers are sometimes, but they're only human. They can smash us every season, and have moments like that in meaningless games all they like, but we won the premier league, something they will never (probably) do.

What exactly is wrong about what they say? It's true they are better than us and much higher in the league so will probably win. Only Leicester fans will probably believe we will win.

I think we will struggle to see Barnes and Tete both starting in any of the next 3 games. Maddison from the left instead of Barnes IMO.

I think that was one of the most brain dead things I’ve ever seen in high-level football. Especially Tielemans, I love the guy, but I was absolutely furious with him at the time: why would you attempt to play a defence-splitting pass from kick-off?

It’s pointless analysing it now though. As you say, Spurs will probably finish above us practically ever season but I would not swap that for our PL and FA Cup.

Sat on a train bored, I made the mistake to have a look at their pre-match thread. For most clubs (even Forest) you do actually get some sensible views in pre-match threads, but they are a different breed over there.

You can see that they are still immensely jealous for 2016. Nearly seven years on and they are still insecure about it lol

Just wow

Watch him closely next game. Clear and obvious outlier now that we’ve fixed some major issues.

Grimmy Castagne.

So it would appear, we might just have a fully fit squad, for maybe United, but almost certainly Arsenal (barring JJ of coarse!)

No excuses for some points then Brendan.

What against man united away and arsenal home, no excuse for points???? A pretty good excuse would be that they are much better than us, whether we have everyone fit or not. I highly doubt Arsenal for example would be worried Evans, Bertrand and Soumare are available.

Grimmy Castagne.

He's been a bit out of form and part of a beleaguered team not playing well, with no proper right mid or winger Infront of him, and mainly clowns in defence with him. Yeah he's not perfect, but calling him brainless and other Jibes is needless, he always tried hard and wouldn't be an international player for Belgium if he was as crap as you say.

Would love to see:

Iversen

Ricardo

Souttar

Faes

Kristiansen

Ndidi

Maddison

Tielemans

Tete

Iheanacho

Barnes

Instead we will get Ward and Castagne

Rightly so...Ricardo and Ndidi are just back from injury. They won't be up to speed and just risks setting them back. Iversen has shown nothing to suggest he's much better than Ward either.

Burnley tried hard last season and got relegated. Need a bit more than that

They've not mentioned us once, and put the wrong team in the poll lol

And that wrong team being Forest!
