I stormed out the room damaging the living room wall at the equaliser.

I went to the loo when my my wife called, Spurs have just scored. "I know", I shouted back. "No, again", she said.

"Nah" I said, "They're just showing a replay"

"I don't think that they are", she accurately replied

Lol. I had the opposite during the cup final, trudged dejectedly to the loo when Chelsea "scored", my gf shouted "its been disallowed" - l forgot what l was doing, shouted and punched the air.....messy...missed the next 5 mins getting dry and changing my strides! 🤣

From a club that hasn’t won anything of significance. Nathan Dyer has won more than them!

Nice of them to have such a neutral opinion, I thought.

Watch him closely next game. Clear and obvious outlier now that we’ve fixed some major issues.

Grimmy Castagne.

Whilst I think we need to give more time for Ricardo, I agree with your general sentiment that Castagne has been doggo and would add he seems to have escaped too much criticism for some reason.Think he will be sold at the end of the season depending on Justin’s progress back from injury.

This extreme hatred of Spurs is so boring. Especially for those who are basing it on us winning the league and that season. I understand those who have memories of 1999 cup final, but it’s almost like our fan base has a lack of imagination and is jumping on a social media trending topic. It doesn’t reflect well on us. ‘Anyone but Spurs’ ‘Harry Kane has an Audi Cup don’t you know’ etc

We won the league, they didn’t.
I don’t like them, but they’re a huge club by default of their location unfortunately and have an impressive history if you go further back.

I could be wrong but the hate seems to be from the same small handful of posters rather than tbe majority.

Yeah that’s fair enough, but my comments don’t just cover this forum. However, I do believe it is more than a handful on here.

The reason Spurs are our krynopite is their insane ability to break effectively at pace. It won't make for a good game but you have to sit on them and let them panic. Then take advantage yourselves of their gaps.

It's exactly where Spurs can beat Man City but then lose to Villa or someone else average

i think you have to play either Mendy or Ndidi in this.

Kane drops off in to midfield allowing their other two wide men to push on.

If Kane drags our CB out of position it will leave us at risk.

I don't dislike the club or the team really, but it's just the worst football web forum out there. Avoid.

From Rodgers’ comments yday about keeping the ball being important, it makes me think he’s going with the same midfield three. Which makes me nervous to some degree, but it’s not like Ndidi, Soumare or Mandy are playing so well that it would be crazy to not play them either.

Our father who art in Heaven.....

Please let us beat these bunch of *#*!!s

... after today I'm feeling sort of optimistic.

3-2 win.

Don't get why you hate Spurs so much

On the game, they are masters of defending and springing the counter so you'd hope Brendan won't be planning on setting us up in the slow build up and dominate possession style.

I think with Tete and VK we might see some quicker more incisive passing but let's see.

Still don't expect anything they're a bogey team of sorts for us 1-3.

Yes avoid their forum. My old boss is a Spurs fan and a lovely fella. Always complimentary about our achievements and our outstanding players.

Hate to do it but they’ve won a darn sight more “significant” honours than we have.

No he hasn't. This whole attitude is weird. We have our fans turning up at places like Villa Park singing "Jamie Vardy's won more than you".

They haven't won a lot in my lifetime but there will be people on this forum that remember them winning the league. 2 league titles and 8 FA Cups isn't to be laughed at.

Yes just not in the last 30 years.

The main reason I dislike spurs is because I know quite a few spurs fans and its fun to have a bit of a rivalry but it hoes no further than that

Fair point, that's a good reason to hate any team! I've always found talking to any Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea fan about football is a lost cause, particularly the actual Cockerknee ones, they're so tribal 24/7 can't ever let their guard down.

This is fair but if we're talking recent history, last 20 odd years or so, they're not wrong. People act like it's a crime to go places like Burnley and Huddersfield and sing PL champions you'll never sing that. Its not always factually accurate, tjey might have won it back in 1893 kicking a pigs bladder around, but who really cares if nobody at the ground was alive to see it.

It's something we can lord over other teams, it's just a bit of banter who really cares.
