I have an irrational dislike of Tottenham.

The loss at home this time last year was one of the most gutting defeats I've ever experienced.

It would be really, really nice to give them a right good pumping.

It feels like we are in the most positive moment the club has had for what seems like a very long time. Hopefully we can take something from this game and build some momentum behind it.

Fantastic news that Ricardo is back. Although, I think we may have to calm our expectations a bit.

He wasn’t great after he came back from his last long term injury so I doubt we’ll be getting anything near the player he used to be. It’ll be very handy to just have another option though.

Prediction for Saturday’s game:

Ricardo replaces Castagne after 70 minutes

Ricardo pulls hamstring after 88 minutes

Brendan Rodgers thread goes “hot” on FoxesTalk with people slating BR “… for bringing Ricardo back too early”

90-95mins - Kane completes 5 minute hat-trick and Son scores a fourth as Spurs overcome a 3-0 deficit to win in injury time

Strange take. The only reason Maddison's been out on the wing is because we have no other suitable winger options and Barnes got two assists last game. Only change would be in the centre but based on his comments about not necessarily needing someone just to win the ball back, I think he's gonna go same team.

It was to do with the opposition in the next 3 games and Rodgers wanting to play Tielemans, Ndidi/Mendy and KDH in the midfield. I want him to play the same team but I don't like Tielemans and KDH together from a defensive point of view and be surprised if he dropped any of them.

What is the point of asking him questions like “Kane?”. Seriously what is the point?

I have a sneaking suspicion the actual wording of the question may have been slightly different to that

Yes I got that much I just never see the point. Always feels like a waste of time asking him a completely perfunctory question.

Would love to see:

Iversen

Ricardo

Souttar

Faes

Kristiansen

Ndidi

Maddison

Tielemans

Tete

Iheanacho

Barnes

Instead we will get Ward and Castagne

What even though Ricky’s not fully fit and just come back from a serious injury .

Rubbish journalism. I don’t understand it, they have so long to plan questions and they ask something really generic.

I haven’t read the transcript, but I suspect that Rodgers just came out with ‘he is a great footballer, we respect him.’ So boring, at least ask questions which lead to interesting answers.

Well I think the whole thing is sort of a waste of time anyway but I'd say it's fair enough to ask about an opposition player in a pre-match press conference, particularly given his record against us and in the wake of his recent achievement. If anything it'd be a bit weird if they didn't mention him.

Is it likely to lead to anything searingly insightful? No, but that's not what press conferences are for I don't think. The setup doesn't exactly lend itself to in-depth, thought-provoking discussion. What's an example of the sort of question you'd be looking to see asked?

Why have none of the journos had the balls to ask if Iverson is close to a prem league start - Jesus - slightly better question than gushing about Kane and conte- such an easy question as well

I would rather a one legged Ricardo than a two legged, no brained Castagne
