If you're a respectful person and had approached the discussion on an intellectual level rather than a personal level in the first place then you wouldn't be bothered by a bit of sh*t flinging. Really? Let me see if I understand you correctly. If someone sh*t talked you, they now deserve it in return? Sounds fair. If someone was respectful and discussed things intellectually, they too deserve sh*t to be flung on them too? Amazing. Simply amazing. 1

Am I confusing what you’re saying?

mozartfox Posted 5 March 2023 Posted 5 March 2023 Does not really matter what any fan on here thinks, Rudkin and Top are sleep walking into the Championship and seem happy to let it happen. 1

So until the bitter end and no longer Mathematical possible, I will squeeze my bumcheeks, and dream of better climates…Even though I said Southampton game, Forest vs Everton weekend, will throw us into a vey deep mire & sruggling to point afterwards…Its the Hope that kills you… but, with, without Rodgers, So long as there is hope…

We're sinking further into it. As we have been for 2 years plus. With Rodgers there is no hope. If its not this year. It will be next.

RobHawk Posted 5 March 2023 Posted 5 March 2023 I've probably been a lot Brendan in than alot on here over the last few months. There's clearly alot happened behind the scenes that has made this season more difficult for him, and whilst I don't always agree with what he says, I hoped that post January, we'd be pushing for an fa cup final and mid table obscurity, ready for the summer rebuild. This week has finished me off. There was a thread at the start of the week, would you rather win the Blackburn game or the Southampton game. I voted Blackburn. The 3 reasons for this, is I think the fa cup was the only chance to save this shit heap of a season and also because I am a firm believer in you you always look to win your next game. No point looking to far ahead as you don't know what will happen in the mean time (see VK). We've gone and lost both these games, our seasons completely in the toilet and we now face a battle to stay in the league. Weve never had much bottle, but the fight, energy and urgency just isn't there. I'd love to get a proper football brain in as DOF and get a exciting up and coming coach. Will still looks a good shout but would he leave now? I'm not so sure. I dunno who we could get to keep us up right now, but I feel like we need to do something as even if Brendan does manage to keep us up, he's not the man for the rebuild and the toxicity he's causing is more detrimental and we need some steel and grit in the dugout. 4
Strokes Posted 5 March 2023 Posted 5 March 2023 Brendanites We call ourselves the Rodgerers. Rodgering the club since 2019.

If FT does seem often toxic, how many fans in reality follow this route of criticism… Detrimental cause is from the side of some posters… Rodgers is at the forefront of our poor times, I wonder how fans, would forget is past, present misendevours, and positively jump back on his band wagon.. results & performances are the 2 gods, that changes, the fans perspectives and aspirations rekindle that march..

FoxTimmy2 Posted 5 March 2023 Posted 5 March 2023 I’ve voted stay before, as I doubt many managers would have yielded the same results, but I can no longer find any logic behind Rodgers choice to start Danny Ward in every single game this season. While he did save a pen in the last game, his performance overall this season has been shambolic, and that’s entirely on Rodgers for picking him.

Look Arty We are actually agreeing with each other on the major topic… We want both to see a new man at the helm…because of the failings of the present one…

Ian S Posted 5 March 2023 Posted 5 March 2023 5th,5th,8th, FA Cup, Community Shield and relegating a decent squad might not be looked at quite so positively with the ramifications of relegation for our club. ps the majority of players he wanted out are those he bought in the first place.
