It's basic karma really, if you belittle other posters on here be ready to get it back your way when you get it wrong as well. If you're a respectful person and had approached the discussion on an intellectual level rather than a personal level in the first place then you wouldn't be bothered by a bit of sh*t flinging.

Really?
Let me see if I understand you correctly.
If someone sh*t talked you, they now deserve it in return?  Sounds fair.

If someone was respectful and discussed things intellectually, they too deserve sh*t to be flung on them too?
Amazing.  Simply amazing.

Have any Brendanites outed themselves yet?

I’m just gonna say it - I voted for Rodgers to stay in one of the other countless threads about whether he should stay or not.

Now do what you want with that little tidbit of information.

Out now, but voted in a few times, guess I too am part of cause of our ills, as obviously if we had voted out sooner, he would have left by now :D

I'm saying that if you were respectful in the first place then others being disrespectful wouldn't bother you. This kind of thread only affects you if you would behave in the same way if you were proved right.

Sorry, but I’m still confused.

If someone is/was respectful, why do they deserve sh*t flinging?  Am I confusing what you’re saying?

So being ‘the bigger man’, ‘turning the other cheek’ type thing?

Huh? You'd probably be even more pissed off because you showed somebody respect but they treat you with none in return.

Does not really matter what any fan on here thinks, Rudkin and Top are sleep walking into the Championship and seem  happy to let it happen.

What is it you see that makes you think he'll keep us up at the moment? The big worry for me is it just seems to be getting worse and worse

Yes but football has its natural, twists & turns.  One can feel comfortably safe, one minute, then slip into a wtf period….also you can be lost & in a wtf period all escape routes just useless, empty aspirations…then a spark..

So until the bitter end and no longer Mathematical possible, I will squeeze my bumcheeks, and dream of better climates…Even though I said Southampton game,

Forest vs Everton weekend, will throw us into a vey deep mire & sruggling to point afterwards…Its the Hope that kills you…

but, with, without Rodgers, So long as there is hope…

Yes, although I dont like the term 'being the bigger man' as if you see yourself that way then it implies the opposite

We aren't slipping out of this 'wtf period' though. We're sinking further into it. As we have been for 2 years plus. With Rodgers there is no hope. If its not this year. It will be next.

Yes, it is a term from a bygone misogynistic age, but I was merely trying to use the idiom to describe my understanding which seemed to work at least.

Or the next,or the next…blah,blah.

I have no confidence in Rodgers, but he alone can’t kill the hope & aspirations..

That foxes badge is not so fickle..

Why are you more determined to be right, than rather see your club move forward.

I've probably been a lot Brendan in than alot on here over the last few months. There's clearly alot happened behind the scenes that has made this season more difficult for him, and whilst I don't always agree with what he says, I hoped that post January, we'd be pushing for an fa cup final and mid table obscurity, ready for the summer rebuild.

This week has finished me off.

There was a thread at the start of the week, would you rather win the Blackburn game or the Southampton game. I voted Blackburn.

The 3 reasons for this, is I think the fa cup was the only chance to save this shit heap of a season and also because I am a firm believer in you you always look to win your next game. No point looking to far ahead as you don't know what will happen in the mean time (see VK).

We've gone and lost both these games, our seasons completely in the toilet and we now face a battle to stay in the league.

Weve never had much bottle, but the fight, energy and urgency just isn't there.

I'd love to get a proper football brain in as DOF and get a exciting up and coming coach. Will still looks a good shout but would he leave now? I'm not so sure.

I dunno who we could get to keep us up right now, but I feel like we need to do something as even if Brendan does manage to keep us up, he's not the man for the rebuild and the toxicity he's causing is more detrimental and we need some steel and grit in the dugout.

If FT does seem often toxic, how many fans in reality follow this route of criticism…

Detrimental cause is from the side of some posters…

Rodgers is at the forefront of our poor times, I wonder how fans, would forget is past, present misendevours, and positively jump back on his band wagon..

results & performances are the 2 gods, that changes, the fans perspectives and aspirations rekindle that march..

Why is it a determination to be right to say what's happening infront of you? Why are you more determined to pretend things aren't so bad rather than fix them?

I do want to see the club move forward. That's the frustrating part. It can't and won't with the current manager.

I’ve voted stay before, as I doubt many managers would have yielded the same results, but I can no longer find any logic behind Rodgers choice to start Danny Ward in every single game this season.

While he did save a pen in the last game, his performance overall this season has been shambolic, and that’s entirely on Rodgers for picking him.

Look Arty We are actually agreeing with each other on the major topic…

We want both to see a new man at the helm…because of the failings of the present one…

So then what is the problem I am confused?

5th,5th,8th, FA Cup, Community Shield and relegating a decent squad might not be looked at quite so positively with the ramifications of relegation for our club.

ps the majority of players he wanted out are those he bought in the first place.
