Rudkin has hid in top’s shadow long enough. There is no place left to hide if we go down. If we narrowly escape I fear he will continue to hang around. Who knows what excuses he’s feeding Top’s ears.

As for Top surely he can see our club is a failing business model in so many ways. It is severely underperforming. Can he atleast. equate to the way other businesses are run within the king power empire? He cannot allow this debacle to continue happening.

LCFC needs more care & attention to succeed again. Besides he cannot allow it or afford it to collapse as it will hurt the king power finances and brand reputation.

more than anything I’m sick and tired as a fan for being kept in the dark all the bloody time. Things are spiraling out of control yet we see no action, no alarm bells going off at the exec level. Fan unrest turning to protests is the only out come here. People are just fed up! 😡

ps we can be angry at the state of affairs yet still love our club. They are not mutually exclusive.

Advisory to Rudkin:

Just in case tomorrow doesn't go to plan, maybe start to draw up a shortlist this afternoon. As opposed to booking a  meeting room with Susan on Monday (with finger buffet) to discuss.

Second,.more of a tip this one than advisory. You aren't legally obliged to limit the search exclusively to CVs submitted by agents.

Will always make me chuckle that some people think 'we don't know what he does at the club!!!' is a defence of the bloke and not another reason to get rid.

This was another issue highlighted by Percy in his article. Percy is supposed to be the most clued in outsider on the inner workings of our club, yet even he doesn't know what's part of basic operations.

In all honesty, what I would do if put in the position is to enact a regime/culture change.

All members of the squad would be asked to volunteer to a big wage cut, doesnt matter who you are or your history at the club, anyone agreeing is kept in the squad for the following season, the rest are ghosted, not registered in the squad, not at training, they are told they free to find another club, and we will release registration to allow it.
We would bring in new players to fill the gaps from the lower leagues and lesser known foreign leagues so they can have a low starting salary, and the aim would be to make contracts as long as possible, meaning better resale prospects and less pressure to recontract successful players to a higher wage.
Seagrave would either be sold, or downgraded so its a less pleasant place, it shouldnt be a holiday camp, players should not be feeling "they have made it", ironically Enzo claims he is fighting that same issue at Chelsea.  We want a low wage "hungry for more" squad.
This then gives leg room for transfer fee's, the ability to flex in transfer market etc.

Why should he continue to get away with it because of previous success? Ranieri and Rodgers didn't last forever (correctly, both kept too long although one was understandable) but  this bloke should carry on regardless (great film, by the way).

Walls are closing in on Rudkin, he cannot expect to survive another disaster window/relegation/managerial sacking

This is what I felt when we got relegated. He still here.

However, this is more from the outside this time, so it will force Tops hand.

Common denominator again

"But with financial restrictions in the background, and with the ponderous Rudkin in charge of transfers, progress has been painfully slow, with only full-back Woyo Coulibaly signed in a £2m deal from Italian club Parma."

This is as scathing as it usually gets about Rudkin in the press. The net is certainly tightening around him.

There's even no need to sack him if that's what Top's avoiding. Simple restructure, put him as KP's sporting project guy but putting an experienced DOF (cough Dan Ashworth cough) in place to actually run the club.

Unfortunately I don't think Top will ever sack him which is why I'm now in favour of a change of ownership as the only way of putting a stop to all this.

They were delighted when Chelsea came in, weren't they?

Couldn't get him out the door quick enough. Common thing for every manager to want a restructure is either moved on or not hired

Didn't Potter want someone else, too?

Nice to see the press are turning up the pressure on him, had far too many people on here throwing themselves in front of Rudkin when it's pretty obvious he's a huge problem (not the only problem)

Top has a choice save his legacy, either sack Rudkin or bring someone proper in and move Rudkin into the background. Until he does that he can clear all the debts he likes, we won't get any better.

All players that have left on Free Transfers that Leicester have paid money for since Jon Rudkin became Director of Football on December 14th 2014.

€290m lost on these deals alone..
