Always got the impression Rudkin is an extremely arrogant guy. Just has that face.

Could obviously be nonsense from me though

I met him several times years ago when he was in charge of the academy. He’s not arrogant, he’s just a bit odd and awkward. Quiet but could be a little rude but really just a bizarre character if I’m honest when you consider how things have worked out for him.

As I understand it Rudkin is only answerable to Top, Top is answerable to who?

Is the club owned by him or the family?

The best thing that could happen is that Top and Rudkin are removed from their positions and someone be brought in to run the club in a proper sensible way. Unless that happens then it won't be long until we cease to exist!

Top is the largest single shareholder but KP parent Company still hold the majority of the shares.

Protesting to Top is a waste of time and effort.

Fans have got to go straight to the Senior KP Board pointing out the failings of Rudkin as DOF and Top as Chairman. That's the way to try and bring about change.

Rudkin clearly has something over Top.

Why else is he keeping him there.

Since Top is the Chairman and CEO of the King Power Group it seems that the only way he could be pushed to one side is if his mother Aimon were to speak out since she is the Senior Chairman of the company. The question is would she sack her son?

I think that goes without saying. All the bad decisions have Rudkin's fingerprints on  Removing Rudkin is one move. Removing Top means selling the whole club and I can't see Top selling up.

enough has gone on now that no one can reasonably say we just need rudkin gone, very clear that he does not go until the nepo baby does

If Top had appointed - by accident - a genius DoF and gave him complete control of operations and Top just signed the cheques, we would be a Premier league team and nobody would be saying King Power out.

That said, I absolutely want to see the back of the family and everybody involved in the set up.

right, because fundamentally there's nothing wrong with being hands off, just sign the cheques, so long as you appoint the right people to run the day to day, and are ready to act when those people are no longer the right people to do it. If he was hands off but had appointed a good dof, by luck or judgement, there wouldn't be a particular issue with him

Alex Smithies posted this in his LinkedIn page today about the day he retired and how he was treated by our wonderful club and especially the DoF speaks volumes …….

“How much do you want?”

In December 2023, I went to London to see my knee surgeon. I walked into that appointment as a footballer and walked out knowing it was over.

The surgeon told me I needed to retire immediately. My knee was no longer compatible with professional sport.

The next day, I sat down with the Director of Football at my club. I told him I’d been playing since I was 6… and now it was over.

His response?

“Okay… so how much do you want?”

No empathy. No conversation. Just business.

I left the training ground expecting a call from the manager. A message. Something.

I’m still waiting.

And just like that… it was done. On my own.

WTF have we become ,I can't wait till these ****ers are forced  out either by administration  or forced to sell because their skint.

That genuinely makes me angry to read. What a horrible club we've become.

Any Facebook comment section regarding the club will show you that it's still a minority wanting these cvnts out of the club. It makes for sickening reading

From I’ve read here and elsewhere he shows many signs of being on the spectrum, chronically lacking in self awareness and probably with incredible levels of self belief. It can be incredibly hard to work with people with these traits, and from personal experience they can be incredibly toxic and burdensome to those around them. Sound familiar?

What other interactions has anyone else had/heard about him to assume this?

Sounds like a sissy. So how much did he get? Rudkin is known as a generous spender.
