Getting out of that at 6-2 is almost a result for Selby

Hopefully it’s purely down to tiredness, but there’s been many times this season where Selby has looked vulnerable.

 

He’s been in this predicament in World Finals before and come back, hopefully he has a 7-2 or 6-2 session in him.

 

Can’t see Luca keeping this swashbuckling style up over a best of 35, but if he does though, then it’s going to be one of the most impressive performances in World Championship history.

usually find myself hating a lot of Selby’s opponents but I quite like Brecel, seems like a good lad without the ego of some of the others.

Loved how Bill Werbeniuk, Terry Griffiths and Len Ganley looked so happy for him doing it.

But iconic scenes.  You could see how nervous Griffiths was towards the end of the break.

Not a massive snooker man. But, even allowing for my Leicester bias, I find Selby mesmeric. Just love how he deals with pressure. Would kinda like him to deliver a Ted talk to City players on how he handles it.
