More likely to be in League 1 come 24/25 than the Premier League

It’s worrying

2008 - Relegated to League One

8 years on

2016 - Premier League Champions

8 years on

2024 - Surely we can’t go all the way back, can we?

I think we're more likely to be struggle against relegation than for promotion to be honest.

I don’t think anyone has ever gone down before with the wage bill we’ve had?

This is the biggest drop in premier league history for me.

No.

I hoping a consortium comes together to get rid of the dickhead. I’d happily be part of that consortium. Once that happens, we can aim to achieve again.

I mean, who will even be here?

We’ve got all the lads out of contract, and then all of those one massive wages who will have to be sold……

So, we’re going to be left pretty threadbare.

I think rebuilding in the championship is more difficult…. Because you won’t attract the players you want to, so you’ll be signing players who are nearly there but not quite.

I don’t really know what to make of it all. Other than ownership has ****ed up royally. Basically steered the titanic directly to the iceberg.

Summer transfer window is going to be absolute carnage

10-15 players will leave and they will all need replacing

what’s terrifying is that our focus would have been on premier league replacements.

I doubt we’ve been focusing on who could get us promoted and who would be willing to come.

we are going to be signing a bunch of premier league rejects i see it coming

Big big trouble the current squad doesn’t have the strong mental grit to get in the playoffs let alone top 2, coward mentality with zero mental strength, we have no spine at all

Imagining whoever is left over at the start of next season putting together a 46 game promotion push makes me laugh. We won’t be in the PL again for a very long time.
