They should have kept the awards night and just had papy mendy attend 

 

best goal of season 

man of the match most times he has played 

the only one who ever looked determined and interested 

 

to be honest i will actually be sad to see him go , i really think we should have played him a hell of a lot more over ndidi and soumare

From memory, we were doing well to go on to draw (potentially win) the game as it entered final stages. 

 

Ndidi then decided to pass the ball as a perfect layoff to Bertrand Traore to curl in form the edge of the box. If I remember correctly, Ndidi had no pressure on him to even pass the ball, but he was so rushed and panicked he did that. It was just typical of our season, really.

...very much so, an attempt to release Barnes on a counter, it was on, all he had to do was make a 10 yard layoff at the edge if our box, he played it to Bertrand (Villa) who executed a first time shot that curved around our keeper, into the far corner. Unfortunately still etched into my mind!!!

Haha oh yea how can I forget. The sort of mistake you’d get shouted at down your local 7 a side. His legs went all jelly like didn’t they.

..he has had this inability to be accurate in passing to his teammates for years, and no-one has sought to remedy it!!!

  Just how bad were the coaches we had in this club?

The actual worst thing about this was it was Ndidi's best game in like 18 months before that. He was probably the best player on the pitch, absolute monster. Was everywhere, winning everything, laying it off sensibly or carrying it forward, making decent decisions. 

 

I actually sat there thinking "brilliant, he's back, this could keep us up."

 

Then all of a sudden /recordscratch, /glassbreaking, /sadtrombone

This comments and other like it amaze me. Even with a 50% cut most would still be over paid. They would care even less than they do now.

 

I guess some would like to see us in div1 again.

Sod the Awards for the Team glad it’s been scrapped, would have rubbed salt in the wounds of the fans having such an awful disgraceful inept waste of a season under Rodgers !
