Tony Mowbray the old has been who just had Sunderland in the playoffs

If he's the best we can do then we really have taken a massive fall with zero intention of getting back where we were.

With all the dross being bandied around, I’d be inclined to give Emma Hayes a call. She’s still recovering from a hysterectomy but infinitely more clued up than some of the names suggested in here.

Also, what if whoever comes in doesn't want a Jonny Evans in their team?

Get the ship in order ffs.

Plenty of Championship managers would want a fit Jonny Evans involved.

Not heard much talk about Nuno. Quick search shows him managing in Saudi. Has to be better than some of the other potential candidates and knows the league. Worth a shout?

Maybe he can bring that Portuguese winger from Al Nassr with him

Dean Smith and Enzo Maresca under consideration as per John Percy … FFS

Also states  Parker,  Gerrard and McKenna no mention of Potter

I wouldn’t even be shocked if I head that Rudkin had been mulling over giving Rogers a call, seriously! He’s probably still pining for him to be back at the club.

The following managers are named by Percy as potential targets:

Dean Smith - at his recent meeting with Top and Rudkin he was asked about how we could mount a promotion challenge and talks were said to be positive

Enzo Maresca - would have to wait until at least after the Champions League Final, apparently earned a reputation as the next Pep staff member who could be a manager, following Arteta

Scott Parker - on the radar

Kieran McKenna - on the radar

Steven Gerrard - in the frame after having held talks in April before we got Smith

What a shocking list of managers.. Judging by the article, Rudkin clearly has a hard on for Smith so no doubt it’ll be him.

it’s a shocking list. Although not shocking in the other sense, completely as expected when it comes to this club now. This is what Top does, he has never done anything at all to suggest has actually ever made one good decision for the club.

OK then, would you be happy if we appointed him?

I don't want him no, again I haven't alluded to wanting him though. Just stating calling him a has been probably means you don't actually watch football outside of the Prem

what did you expect? We’re a championship club now.

There are far better managers in the championship alone than any of them on that list.

Isn't Enzo Maresca actually about as useful as tits on a bull based on his record?
