Started with Rodgers being apoplectic with a 3-0 lead against West Brom.

This was when I started to get worried.

Vichai had a dream. Everyone else has destroyed it in the past two years.

Rodgers. Rudkin. The players. Happy clappers. Hang your heads in shame.

I come in peace.

IMHO Leicesters 3 biggest mistakes this season was

1. Not signing a new goalkeeper after Kasper left the building

2. presisting with Ward for too long, when he was leakier than a sieve. My feeling is that Iversen at least made it more competitive by giving the front a chance to score more goals than was scored against you

3. Keeping Rodgers for too long ... should've been binned in early January at latest

We are a poorly run club. On all fronts. Pretending that isn’t the case is stupidity. Saying that idiot in charge hasn’t ran down an investment is naive.

The reality is, that was a battle (if you can call it that) between two clubs with clueless people at the helm. We are now stuck with a 37year old who can’t  read a balance sheet without the riches of the PL.

There is no other option or person to blame.

Seems obvious but probably didn't help that we lost Vichai.

Thinking back to after we had won the league and Ranieri had lost his way, we didn't allow sentimentality and the narrative other fans wanted to stop us removing a manager who was underperforming. Rodgers was given time to instill a weak mentality and genuinely seemed like he was barely interested at time this season.

Completely avoidable relegation and I hope Top learns from it.

My worry is we have a Thai Elon Musk but without anywhere near the level of richness.

Whilst Top has done his best with so called professional advice (Rudkin and his fellow board members) I doubt his wise father who created a world brand would have made similar mistakes in trusting these charlatans.

Yeah, thanks for the insight.

We would never have known otherwise.

This was the moment for me too. When it became blatantly obvious it was all about brand Brendan and proving to everyone he was the cleverest person in the room rather than finding the most effective way to win football matches for his employer.

Allardyce was practically drooling over our first half performance, calling us the best team in the league alongside Man City. If I remember right it could have been 7 rather than 3 on chances created. Cue Brendan coming out with all that rubbish about too many risky passes in the first half and being delighted with the Brendanball in the second half.

This is when the mask slipped for me and I suspected he was the snake oil salesman we'd seen at Liverpool.

If you're a professional footballer and you've just destroyed a team and then you hear your gaffer come out with all that I think the doubt starts to creep in

Top will Foxtrot Oscar and leave us to the vultures.

He has nothing to lose

We let Ullua go.

Perez missing the sitter in the last minute against Chelsea that would have seen us in the Champions League

Not sacking Brendan at the beginning of the season

Posted

Long Term: Not finishing top 4 in either 2020 or 2021

Short Term: 1)Not sacking Rodgers much earlier

2) Not getting a manager for Villa and Bournemouth

3) Smiths weird tactics against Everton which played directly into their hands

It could be argued when Rodgers was given a massive contact, it shows the club became completely complacent, from then it’s been a steady decline with a few peaks, being the FA cup and the European exploits.

But the main problems have been the board who couldn’t run a bath. They’ve made honking decisions and the most horrific of those we’re not investing in the squad this season, and hanging on to Rodgers for too long.

There’s been a catalogue of errors, that’s have ultimately led to today.

Perhaps the club can’t learn? But I doubt it, I think this may be the start of a horrific slippery slope that sees us plummet to unthinkable depths.

Let's all call it out for what it is.  This was heading one way from when Top took over.  He doesn't have the same passion for it as his dad has.  Top is the Thailand Mike Ashley.  Wanted to spend as little as possible to just get by.  Well it's bitten him on the arse and wiped 10s if not 100s of millions off what the club is worth.

Let's also have it right.  Had we of stayed up, I have no doubt that next season would have been a complete shitshow, seeing us go down with a Derby like points total as we replaced Maddison, Barnes, Tielemens and everyone else who jumped ship with overpaid mercenaries who didn't give a toss about our club.

We needed this reset and harsh reality, and I for one (probably on my own) couldn't give a toss we went down.

We earned it, we deserved it.  No team can make the amount of cock ups we have and get away with it.

Has any club not sacked a manager after taking 1 point from their opening 7

And persisted with the same keeper after setting a top flight record of 22 goals conceded the most since 1965
