we had a few chances first half too, 1 was/could(hamza one) but that other was nowhere near a penalty

but just blaming Enzo for the defeats isnt right to me, players bare the blame as well

Sacking the manager is a very blunt conclusion, as it ignores all other inputs to the continued failures. Not saying Enzo is great or we are in a wonderful moment, Christ no, but there is inevitably many factors unpinning our current feckless performances.

Add to this, we are now in the throes of a right roasting over our financial imprudence and if you are prepared to be so careless with your own finances as a club, then it seems inevitable that best practices are not within our current way of operating.

So say we sack Enzo, we get a new person who inherits the same unstable foundations and unless you luck out and land another Pearson and friends and KP chat their spots, we will just rinse and repeat.

Until it does.

Statistics are inherently streaky just through pure randomness. You can go several in a row without losing, or go several in a row without winning. Losing 4 out of 6 doesn't mean you'll continue at that rate for the rest of the season.

At this point it's just winning more than the others from here in. Form is ALWAYS temporary.

Positivity of any kind is not welcomed here.

Please, put more sadness in your replies thanks!

personally i never said sack Enzo, and you make a lot of good points tbh; stuff like recruitment has been woeful the last couple of yrs in the premier league and we are still trying to find our way again from it all

as you said, we need to build strong foundations again, as we cant build on sand

Norwich won't make the play offs based on that. Genuinely one of the worst teams we've played this season. I've never seen a team be 2-1 down with 10 to go and still have 11 men behind the ball. Absolutely woeful. Can see why their away form is so bad

We made them look poor today in all honesty.

We played well but they were so poor. No pressure, no pressing just let us pass around.

Rotherham relegated today if they lose at home to Millwall - hadn’t really looked at the bottom for a while, but whilst Rotherham are down today, the other two spots could go to any two of 8 or 9 teams.

I put a bet on us to make the play offs and a bet on us to not get promoted. If we've turned the corner now, then you can all thank me. I haven't won a bet for years 🤣

So do we want a Southampton win or a draw?

Maximum points at the top:

Leicester 106

Ipswich 105

Leeds 104

Southampton 101

Southampton still have to play all of the top 3 plus Coventry and Preston, so a draw isn’t the worst result imaginable.

That’s exactly why we should be wanting a Southampton win. A saints win means we’re a point ahead of Ipswich with a game in hand and with them to play Norwich, Hull and Coventry away.

On paper the next 3 should be 9 points for us, lets hope ipswich or leeds manage to draw or even lose one of their next 3 which are tougher than ours.
