Leicester_Loyal Posted 2 December 2023 Posted 2 December 2023 We've only gotta worry about Ipswich, Leeds and Southampton, the rest are too far behind surely? If we can win the next 2 games I'm sure we'll gain a bigger gap.
oxtonfox Posted 2 December 2023 Posted 2 December 2023 We’re beginning to see who the challengers will be now: us, Ipswich, Leeds, Saints and I’d say West Brom too. 1

The positive being that it pushes us, but also I need breathing space. I would like to be able to breathe! Hats off to them. I love Ipswich winning.. The fact that they only just got promoted from League One & are now challenging for automatic promotion is just amazing !! Kieran McKenna is certainly making a name for himself as a young English British manager. I would thoroughly enjoy Ipswich going up alongside us, leaving Southampton & Leeds to struggle with the playoffs. Edited 2 December 2023 by gurru991 1

We have come through a tough patch with some tough games recently and remained top, the next few we have are all very winnable and we should be looking to extend our lead. 1
Tuna Posted 2 December 2023 Posted 2 December 2023 Coventry on the wind up with a 96th minute consolation

They are having a good run and this apart from Ipswich being there was what I expected at the start of the season. Well to be honest I didn’t expect us to be doing so well but I did Leeds and Southampton 1

Popular Post Tuna Posted 2 December 2023 Popular Post Posted 2 December 2023 Leeds and Southampton's slow starts have really helped us. 5

Super_horns Posted 2 December 2023 Posted 2 December 2023 Fantastic win on the road for us . Great goal to win it from a central defender! https://twitter.com/dnsye_podcast/status/1730990197985222855?s=48 Well done to Hamer (yes I know !) for his penalty save at 1-1 1
LCFCJohn Posted 2 December 2023 Posted 2 December 2023 Nothing gained on the pack, nothing lost either. One more game ticked off and on paper a tougher one for us than our 3 nearest challengers about sums it up. Could be some very high points totals in the top 2/3/4 this season. 1

Noahfence Posted 2 December 2023 Posted 2 December 2023 Hopefully we’ve had our “wobble” and a last minute winner away from home gives the players a bit of a bounce going into the festive games. Next 4 games (3 at home) all against sides 15th and below gives a chance to build momentum again. I want to see us be more ruthless in these upcoming games 1
coolhandfox Posted 2 December 2023 Posted 2 December 2023 Southampton, Leeds, WBA and Ipswich will take points of each over. Like us they will all have a wobble.
nnfox Posted 2 December 2023 Posted 2 December 2023 I find it interesting that the championship is regarded as a very difficult league and "championship experience" has such a high perceived value, yet none of the top 4 were in the championship last season.
