Regarding expectations, I know the BBC Leicester guys get a lot of stick on here, but I can't recommend yesterday's When You're Smiling podcast enough. The episode titled "The Enzo Era Officially Begins".

You can skip the initial discussion about the press conference, Winks and Coady, I recommend it because of an interview with Spanish journalist Guilliam Balagué, who has followed Man City very closely and knows Enzo personally.

This starts at 15m45s.

Of particular note is a section where Balagué interrupts Owynn to ask his own question:

"You talk about expectations to play like Man City (...), but do you think people are actually expecting the same kind of superiority, style, consistency of delivery that Man City do?"

After Owynn's response that amounted to saying that we hope to see elements of a Pep team emerge in our play, he then says:

"Let me tell you that they are going to be let down, because you do not have £100m players."

The interview continues on as they discuss the slow nature of trying to create a team that can play in that style, how it took Pep time to create a Man City team that preformed how he wanted, how players like Graelish come in and take over a year to adapt and learn this new way of playing, and Enzo's time in Parmo.

Have you got a link by any chance?

I think a few people on here need to make an appointment at Specsavers and have the blue tinting reduced on their lenses. It is not going to be a walk in the park, teams will try to take a point at all costs especially at our home, just to stop the big mighty Leicester.

No, No, No I don’t want to play like Man.city…!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yes I want our new management take a leaf, and use maybe some ideas from Peps school of perceived excellence..

My Club the foxes, should play in their own name and create once again, their own version of that great city Leicester.

Chapatis ,pork pies, Rogan josh,Doner pizza, fish n chips, Samosa, ice cream sodas, knickerbocker glory, Shish-kebabs,balti-pies,

I know one thing. Out of those five opening games, there is going to be a very humbling experience for a lot of Leicester City.

Imagine losing at home to Cov !! Totally deflating if it occurs.

Leeds fan here. I thought it was only Waccoe that had fans thinking it will be an easy ride back to the prem. Does anyone remember how difficult the championship is? Teams like Boro, Southampton will be pushing for autos,I also fancy WBA to be up there because I think Corbaran has a knack of turning teams around quickly and I think they will push on.

You may be getting some decent transfers in but what track record has your manager got? That would be my slight worry, didn't he win just 4 games at Palma before being sacked?

What I do know is Norwich played excellent football under Farke and he has nothing to prove to get a team out of the division but nothing is guaranteed. What I do know is his style is not that unfamiliar to how Bielsa wanted his team to play which is possession football and good to watch coupled with very intense training sessions.

It will be a tough season but nothing is certain for any of us.

Typical Leeds fan coming on here and highlighting his text in bold, thinking he is better than us!

Not expectations but the dream scenario is to win direct promotion and a cup. We would return to the League with intact European pull and immediately back to being an attractive destination for players.

A man can dream, but I don't know why Papa John's trophy is flashing infront of my eyes.

League trophy is just for leagues one and two. You thinking we get relegated then?

More like hoping the next trophy we win isn't Papa John's trophy. 😂

He's proven in Championship. That counts for something.

If a pedigree dog is born in a stable it doesnt make it a prize winning stallion though does it?  I knew who I would rather have a champions league winning coach in charge or  Daniel Farke.
