Swear we've taken upwards of 4k there before? Why such a small allocation?

They've given half of the end to their own singing section. It's a shame because we'd take absolutely loads to this based on the other games and Huddersfield won't get near to selling it out.

Perhaps there waiting to see how many we sell first before extending the allocation.

Their home end being next to the away end isn't a new thing, it happened on our last two visits now.

I'm sure the last time we took 4k, or similar, was the season when we got promoted.

The category bracketing for this game seems daft to me and I hope that's not going to be the same for the entirety of the season. Surely there are loads that sit between the 560-600 and 520-560.

Would make more sense to be 600+, 580+, 560+, 540+, 520+, 500+ then all ST holders. People stuck between bands are never going to get into the next band. Think I'm about 544, so got to get to 16 of the 23 aways not including the cup to get into the next band, which with the amount of midweekers seems unlikely, and with small allocations at some places won't get down to get one anyway.

I think a lot of clubs have, rightfully, realised that having 4k+ away fans from teams like ourselves and Leeds against mainly poor atmospheres with sporadic home fans is very counter productive to their teams. Bit of extra money doesn't outweigh that.

Well Forest did it, and a few other Championship clubs who never sell out have decided to stop giving so many away to visiting fans. When it's extra income the only logical reason is to give the home support more of a voice around the stadium. Can only be a huge plus to have 4-5k fans singing in unison while 90% of home fans are quiet as ****.

Do we know if this fixture will definitely be 3pm KO on the Saturday? Only one Championship fixture announced for live TV so far for this weekend (Cov v Boro).

Would be grateful if someone can confirm.

About 98% certain. Sky won’t have a championship Friday game because the first game of the PL season is on then (Burnley v Man City)
