Promotion in one season may be fanciful with a squad, still full of players that showed little appetite for the fight last season. I believe in Enzo but he’s not a miracle worker.

We’ve seen signs that this system might work. It’ll take time to imbed and realistically we need to potentially upgrade Albrighton, Ndidi, Castagne, Vestergaard etc

It's more the situation that competive games start next week. The manager knows the situation, he's stated we need to move quickly. The club as usual dither, looking for yellow stickers, excepts Rudkin is too slow and ends up with the skip fodder.

I feel these tactics will work against lesser opponents.

 

What concerns me, is who is putting the ball in the net. At the moment, Ndidi is the player getting the chances, however in a system like this, he isn’t suited. He’s a destroyer, not a technical genius.
