Not arguing the Curry red, but in terms of “carelessness”, the Argentine incident looked as bad if not worse.

It was much worse in my opinion, the England one was 50/50 and seemed unavoidable… the argentina one was so late and dangerous

I've never been big enough or daft enough to play Rugby but always enjoyed watching it for it's physicality.

Take that away and you've lost the essence of the game for me.

Help me out here mate. What was he supposed to do instead?

What exactly did he do wrong?

Its head on and doesnt wrap his arms.  I dont like the rule but its modern day rugby whether anyone on here likes it or not. He didnt have a chance too do anything about it, granted, but the whole point is that you always have to put yourself in a position to  avoid a head on head collison in the first place. If you cant then you shouldnt be anywhere near the ball.

Like I say, I think this rule has gone too far but you play to the rules.

Thanks for the explanation but I've no idea how you can consciously make that decision in a nano second due to the pace of the game.

To be honest neither do I sometimes.

You see attackers players change position in a split second and what would have been a clean tackle becomes a yellow or red.

Edit - I'm all for player welfare but I worry about the direction that rugby might go in terms of what might be deemed a red or yellow in 20 or 30 years time.

Last edit - I was wrong about the arm wrap in my other post, looks like he did wrap his arms
