He was a key part of the Bologna team last year that had the 3rd best defence in all of Serie A.

No chance he does that being a terrible player, more like the system here is much much worse

Can you name anything he’s done well this season? Does any moment of any game stand out to you and it makes you think “yeah I’m glad he’s playing for us?”

Not many of our players can say they've scored for Man Utd.

Drives me mad how many goals are we going to concede this season because are useless defenders do not do the basics right.

All our defence are so bad I'm sick of them. Can't wait until the day I don't have to see those idiot centre backs playing for us.

I dunno.

Scoring for a rubbish team is surely harder than scoring for a good team.

Milquetoast player with this manager and lack of tactics.  I really want to like him but he doesn’t seem to have the bite and strength you would expect with someone his size.  Yesterday he had chances to push up into space and offer support but he was staying square with the cbs. When he does get forward he seems reluctant to put a cross in first time when he has time, then it’s a poor one as he’s closed down.

He seems like he needs a manager to fire him up.

He strikes me as a talented footballer offensively and a bit immature defensively. Sometimes he seems a bit too eager to win the ball quickly and makes it too easy for the forward to get around him. I do think he’ll improve quite a bit though. His forward runs and passes today were so good.

Feel Kristiansen’s place in the side will be one of the biggest conundrums heading into January.

Of course new defenders are needed, but when it comes to Kristiansen I’m very much 50/50.

Defensively last night, West Ham were getting far too much joy down his side, especially in the first half. In and around the 18 yard box when defenders are running at him, he seems to panic far too often.

His best pieces of defending last night came when he was intercepting the ball higher up the pitch, he produced numerous moments like this which led to him playing some superb passes in behind West Ham’s defence.

Going forward his flaws are obvious, he is nowhere near dynamic enough to take players on consistently, if Ruud wants to play with a high attacking left-back, Kristiansen does have limitations that probably wouldn’t suit him in this role.

But if asked to be more conservative, play to his strengths which we saw especially in the second half, there’s elements of Kristiansen’s game that I really like, out of possession you can’t fault his work-rate too.

It’s going to be intriguing to see how he gets on throughout December.

The thing I really like about him is that he gives 100% effort

I must admit I thought he looked extremely limited in the 1st few games but to be fair to him he's really raised his game and I thought he was superb last night.

I'm hoping he'll continue to prove me wrong.

He's still only 21, one of the youngest players in the squad, and in a position that requires a lot of discipline. I think he's doing well, and will hopefully kick on with Ruud and improve even more.

He certainly has one of the best crosses I've seen from a full-back since Fuchs. Even in the dog days of Cooperball he was putting in some really tricky balls low and fast across the six-yard box. It''s something different from the usual ones lofted in slow-motion to the back post. He's not 100% consistent with them but when they land they're a real weapon.

He also has a good eye for a through--ball - set McAteer away a few times yesterday, and while it wasn't a perfect ball and relied on a rare bit of quick thinking from him, he had the vision to set Daka away for #3.

I don't know if many realise but he had a hand in  two of the Goals last night.

Vardy's Goal when he played the ball to El Kanousse to play Vardy in and then the pass to Daka for the 3rd Goal.

If he can keep improving we'll all be very happy.
