The 'redemption arc' is fast becoming a 'w'.

 

What surprises me is that people seem surprised.  Of course he's not good enough at this level.

Despised this player since he arrived. 
looked ok a league lower in a dominant team but whenever he was 1 on 1 or run at last season he looked pathetic and somehow we gave him 3 more years. His stupid “staring face” when the fans are dishing out a few home truths.  Total lack of willingness to win aerial duels despite typically having a height advantage… He’s an absolute joke of an athlete even if he is a decent technical player

You play him in the middle of a back three surrounded by pace or you don’t play him at all. 
 

Three year contract though was utter madness, should have been one year with an option of a second, if he didn’t want that we should have binned him off.

He's being asked to play a high line which we all agreed was odd even back when he was signed under Bodgers. 

 

Originally it seemed he was signed to come on towards the end of a game to give a 1st xhoice cb a rest when we were sitting deeper to defend the lead. 

 

If we start playing a low block or 3atb he will be Ok but to expect him to play a high line today was a ridiculous management decision. 

 

We have some OK players Ruud just doesn't know how to use them.

I think it's more likely that all the CB are crap and it doesn't really matter.

 

Okoli was awful agasint Brentford but I can imagine Vestergaard will the same tonight!
