Harsh to included those two, both brought for low fees one not fancied by RVN, the other a 18 year old kid.

Fair comment re Coulibaly and Golding, they are young and may come good, I hope so. My broader point is the incoherence and head scratching with many of the signings.

Easy ... if he values his international career he needs to find another club .... because he ain't playing for this one

The only thing he values is money and no team in the world will give him as much as we do.

Anyone who doesnt think this bloke is nowhere near the level required is clueless.

Look at the lump in these goals for gods sake. At some point it has to stop being 'he's not being played in the right setup' and more that he doesnt have the attributes to be a competitive centre back.

He's not even half as good on the ball as our fans like to make out either.

He's not a good defender.

I never watched him under Enzo and thought he was good defensively, most teams were just too busy defending ud to exploit him/Faes. If he'd been at a bottom half champ team he wouldn't have improved them.

So the captaincy order is Ricky -> JJ -> Vesty?

Is it simply hierarchy based i.e. who's been at the club the longest or is it actually voted for by the players?

In this division he’s paramount to our style of play.
I sort of wish he’d just be available any time we’re in the championship, and for any promotion he can have a year off 😄

Mental that people think he was so good last time we were here. Sure, his passing is excellent but he had the best team in the league ahead of him that gave him loads of protection. He was the main reason they kept getting in down the sides in the first half (yes the full backs were crap), as he drops 10 yards too deep.

The bit at the end is actually embarrassing how he didn't deal with it

As is typical, Nelson written off after one bad performance whereas Vestergaard gets unlimited clean sheets at this club.

Should be the other way round, Nelson should get as many clean slates as he needs to establish himself here here as he's young and still developing. Vestergaard will forever produce clangers like he did today, should have been out of the door yesterday.

This entire situation shows how rotten this club is, including the fanbase. We really need to be backing Nelson as a starter over Vestergaard yet you see how ready everyone was to write him off after one bad performance and to make it seem like Vestergaard is miles ahead of him. This is despite Vestergaard consistently putting in performances like the one Nelson had against Huddersfield.

I would rather Nelson, but he fluffed his chance, hopefully gets another but he didn’t do himself any favours with that performance

Bit sensationalist! Very much doubt Nelson has been written off! Blimey!

Is that the only conclusion you could come up with for him not playing today?

You completely ignored the comment I quoted?

The commenter said that Nelson had 'played himself out of contention for months' hence why I said he had been written off.

But what I really can’t understand is why managers new and old consistently pick him!?

Because this others are shit also . And we’ve not gotten any new defenders in that are any good either.

I didn’t it was TLDR. lol

Fair comment then, I disagree with the commentator, not you.
