Surely it's the opposite? He was recalled because he wasn't getting enough appearances, which is what Chelsea thought we had agreed to?

Nope  what I mean here is we kept playing him or bringing him off the bench, even though his performances were average until recently as we had to in order to ensure we could keep him for the season.

The implication is that we were playing him when he wasn't good enough to try and meet the agreed appearances. Even in doing so, we didn't play him enough.

Hate Chelsea. All they had to do is watch him to understand there were times he wasn't up to speed, and others where he was showing promise. A 2nd half season for him chasing a Championship title would have been the best development for him.

Exactly

Funny how most posters on here don't/didn't rate him, yet the same posters usually end up saying its nod good for us......he was a loan signing.....Chelsea can do what they like......we have to honour the agreement whatever that was....opportunity for someone tonight.....

Glad he isn’t playing tonight, bang average at best,

Tonight wouldn't have been a good game for him at all, but Enzo would have likely started him. Was poor when pressed and the opposition was pacy.

The Metro reporting Chelsea recalled him as he was playing with an injury.

They said it's because Enzo Fernandez was playing with an injury

Not quite. They're reporting that Chelsea recalled him because Enzo Fernandez has been playing with an injury and they need cover.

Who are we going to play instead of him though with Dewsbury hall and Ndidi injured. Praet and Akgun are on a similar level to Casadei (that's assuming Praet is even fit).

Good job he went back, straight into the squad for Chelsea tonight!

He can't play tonight or in the fa Cup at the weekend as he's cup tied, so Chelsea could have at least let us keep him until after the Birmingham game. Hope we don't ever deal with them silly bastards again! Horrible football club!

He’s on the bench

He might be there but he's not actually a substitute and he can't actually play as he's cup tied. Would actually love it if they put him on and then got kicked out of the cup but even Chelsea aren't that stupid unfortunately

Chelsea with a bench of regens. Ted Curd is my favourite. Reckon it's probably Boehly naming himself on the bench and changing his surname hoping nobody notices

Nah, Ted Curd  is his real name. He's rubbish, though. Always ducks a challenge - completely yellow. An absolute lemon, if you ask me.

He’s certainly unlucky he played for us in both cups, given he’d probably  been on the bench tonight and got a run out tonight (and possibly on Friday).

Unlucky?. He was on fudging loan.
